According to the MLB story, Mets players have been told to prepare as though the Saturday 4:05 PM game will be played. I think if they're wiling to play one game that way they are more likely to just turn it into a 2 game double header at the same start time? That's what makes sense to me anyway. Why fall further behind so early, not knowing how the next weeks will play out.

MLB has just announced the postponement of this game because the stupid Gnats have stupid Covid. Grrrrr

Let him ask Jose Reyes how he felt about his decision to take more money from the Marlins and end up miserable in Florida, Colorado, Toronto, etc., all for just trying to max out on value.

I play in a Thursday night darts league at a local bar (we wear masks, it's OK!). I am going to be half watching while I play - but this is OK also because in that setting I will not be able to hear the insipid ESPN broadcast team. Just visuals.

I know this is the wrong forum but we're desperately looking for an 8th player to join ABNS, WP, MM, Ceetar, myself, and a few other CPF'ers in an 8 team NL only league. I agree. I also think it'll be closer to the $325m figure than the $385m one. Lindor wants to start on the good foot, not be the guy who rejected one of the biggest contract offers ever. That's what I'm thinking. Eleven years, $343m, something like that.

We're up to 7, nearly there. You may want to cap it at 8 because if we have 9 we are stuck, or we have to switch to roto scoring. Can't have a head to head league with an odd number of teams.

What a shit ass. Funny still to me because even after shoulder checking a woman sitting on the grass he's still 20-30 feet from even being near that ball. Sucks to be in the line of fire I suppose.

I believe he leads the Mets to their first WS win in 35 years. I am so fucking ready for this to happen let me tell you. He rakes .290 29 HR 110 RBIs gold glove. They pay him either before or after but he gets his big $$$$
