  1. =MFS62 post_id=33187 time=1583931817 user_id=60] A very 2018-like .268/.410/.490 in 135 games.
  2. They were banging trash cans and he still hit .228 last year. i don't expect much beyond good defense. 5/25/.207.
  3. He's been pitching for 3 years with an elbow held together with scotch tape and baling wire. I think this is the season it gives out.
  4. Passes through waivers and spends the summer drinking Genny Creams in Syracuse.
  5. I'm not gsold on him at all. Gstarts off okay but tails off. 0-2, 4.75, 50 appearances, no gsaves.
  6. I love that 'Polar Bear' in Spanish is 'Oso Polar'.
  7. He'll be the backup since he's out of options. Will have no impact whatsoever.
  8. Johnny Lunchbucket wrote: All the guy does is hit. 320/380/480 16-66 This.
  9. This is his year. 32/105/.270. At least 100 mentions from Keith about how much he loves his sweet swing.
  10. Gets a cuppa in September after a fine year in upstate New York.
  11. He's probably 5th or 6th on the bullpen depth chart, so he'll probably be so-so in limited work. 2-2, 4.00, one extra-inning save.
  12. 26th man on and off, wearing a path back & forth to Syracuse. Gets his beard caught in a mechanical rice-picker with hilarious results.
  13. Does what he does. He'll have another great year, but somebody else will have a better year for the Cy. 17-8, 2.60 and finally gets a little run support.
  14. Fixes what's wrong, keeps what's right. Stellar year, 45 saves.
  15. Ya takes yer Chances with Dellin Betances. Will be good but not Yankee good. Numbers kinda irrelevant for a middle reliever. Gets into a taxi in Miami on a late night in August......and arrives safely.
  16. I think it's a pretty good bet that neither he or Lowrie will be ready. It's looking like they'll be Extended Spring Training roomies.
  17. Johnny Lunchbucket wrote: Who knows what to expect with this guy? Here in the 2020 Vison thread, YOU do. Actually, I don't have the slightest idea. Could be great or could be banished. All I can say is I don't trust him in a key situation if there are other options available.
  18. F the Yankees.
  19. Can't possibly duplicate last season, bur he'll be good enough. .260, 44 HR, 105 RBI.
  20. Jed Lowrie. Nobody's expecting anything out of him, but he could be Asdrubal-esque given the right circumstances. If he doesn't qualify due to the 'Cespedes Rule', then.... Stephen Gonsalves, the waiver pickup from the Twins. Already knows Jeremy Hefner, and we're due for a wave of injured starters.
  21. This is all so weird. I need more.
  22. Yanks signed LaMahieu to play second base. Lowrie was supposed to be a utility guy as we already had Cano at second. And even if he's perfectly healthy in 2020, he's still just a utility guy; he's not going to dislodge either Cano or McNeil unless they're injured.
  23. =kcmets post_id=32078 time=1582212800 user_id=53] I often am wearing underwear that is over 21 years old.
  24. Their basic take is the beer selection is good but accessibility is so-so; there's no organized way to find what you want as things are kind of random. Mikkeller gets a mention. I'm guessing every stadium will be upping their craft-beer game in 2020. It's too profitable not to. Except the Yankees, who'll probably arrogantly stick to their warm foamy $13 Bud Lights.
  25. Russell Martin still out there for the taking.
