  1. A year or three ago. I guess Miller opted not to re-up after their initial time period ran out. Either that or maybe AFF just out-bid them. Tough to miss the new sponsor as there are three signs, separate but almost on top of each other, behind home plate so as to be seen from the CF camera.
  2. =TransMonk post_id=108008 time=1663647863 user_id=71] I did walk down to the concourse near the 3rd baseline for the bottom of the ninth. There were mostly Mets fans down there and I wanted to be closer to them as opposed to staying in my nearly empty section.
  3. Very, very nice win.
  4. =TransMonk post_id=107935 time=1663634853 user_id=71] Club level seats (right above the TV booths). It's by far my favorite seats in MIL.
  5. Until G & K started talking about it, I hadn't thought of this game as a clincher the entire night even though I was aware all along that it could be.
  6. Slightly off-topic for a moment, but you gotta like a mid-west/west coast road trip with only one game post-8 PM 7:40 start again tomorrow, then day games Wednesday plus Saturday & Sunday in Oakland. Only the Friday night 9:40 start vs A's is a problem time for me (and, I'm assuming, many of you as well).
  7. And now the five run lead is back.
  8. Frayed Knot wrote: 5 - 2, end of seven Just to be clear, this was a report on the Braves game not a prediction for the Mets game.
  9. 5 - 2, end of seven
  10. =ashie62 post_id=107922 time=1663631153 user_id=90] Where did Lindor's hair go
  11. We know that Scherzer isn't going to have a problem adjusting to the pitch clock next year. He's just getting it and chucking it tonight.
  12. 4 - 2 Braves, end of six

  14. Chicks dig back to back triples
  15. The T key's connected to the Y key The Y key's connected to ...
  16. Seeing as how effective the Phils were(n't) this past weekend, we probably shouldn't expect too much from the Nats ... and as I type the Braves get a HR three batters in (Riley). Most of the rest of the NL -- at least the ones most important to us -- is off today. Phils host the Blue Jays starting tomorrow. Cardinals (don't sleep on the Cards, folks) go to Sandy Eggo Yanx host the continue Pirates' NTC tour after a day off today.
  17. Yeah, it's 7:40. Just a typo on my part whilst I was seeking to INform peeps not to assume an 8:10 start and wound up MISinforming them instead. Not the first time, won't be the last. Back to that Vogelbach/Reyes GS Seeing a clip like that reminds me of the old Armando wars on the MoFo when many of the critters there (as well as a fair number of baseball fans in general) insisted that only OUR closers blew saves in gut-kick fashion. After all, if a save falls in the forest but you're not there to feel the gut-kick, can we be sure that it even happened?
  18. 8:40 EDT first pitch, btw
  19. Two words: Bouncy Castle
  20. In Kentucky they like basketball better.
  21. There's a saying about Tennessee actually being three states divided by music. The western third, anchored by Memphis, is home of the blues; the middle third is dominayed by Nashville and mainstream country; the eastern portion gets you into the mountains where bluegrass was born.
  22. Kenley Jansen, who's been an adventure, on in the 9th for the save. Viewing -- FO Top of the order for Schwarber ... and he fouls out on the first pitch. Alex Bohm is the last hope. Strike. Three. Looking.
  23. Head-first slidin' Albies was. Cards sweep a pair from Reds, including the night cap 1 - 0 in 11 when a throw home hit the runner and bounced away. The runner, Arenado, was several Feet inside the line (throw came from 3B) but I guess that's not illegal except when running to 1st
  24. Yanx lose, Blue Jays win. Division lead now at 4.5 Maybe.... just maybe.
  25. Phils, who have had baserunners all night, have 1st & 3rd, 2 out in the 8th. Stott facing Iglesias ... BASE HIT and it's 4 - 3 1st & 2nd now, Nick (Auto) Maton at bat ... and he pops out
