    6 - 3 in Cobb County. One on, two outs in the 7th as the Braves go for a pitching change. So there's at least hope for One comeback this afternoon.

    Bryce Harper decides to finally join the series with a 2R HR and knocks Kyle Wright out of the game in the process. 6 - 2 Braves, Phils batting in bottom 6th I think that's only Harper's second hit in what is now the 6th game played between those two teams over the last week.

    In the 1st it took JdG one pitch to get the first out, then 30 more to get the next two. And while being pissed at Angel Hernandez is always in season, I don't really think he had much of a case.

    That creepy chick isn't exactly 'Front Row Amy' of Mwaukee fame. I meant to ask Monk if she's still a regular at (former) Miller Park. I didn't see her there in the recent series.

    Well it's not like we haven't seen the Phils blow large, late leads before ... this year. 9 - 1 mid-7th 6 out for the Phils pen to navigate.

    Nice to see that Oakland has Stephen Vogt back (I don't recognize any other names in that lineup). I mean, yeah, he's 37 y/o and isn't hitting worth a damn, but he was very popular there during his first go-around on the East Bay.

    That AppleTV+ is available free for baseball games (for this year at least) shouldn't be news to fans, except maybe to those just jumping on now to see Judge tie/break/get-slightly-closer-to (depending on your P.O.V.) a record.

    So my first thought was that the extra half-game lead plus one of the extra games the Braves has being erased from the schedule meant that even the Braves winning out wouldn't guarantee them catching us ... then I remembered that them running the table would automatically involve three NYM losses so ... Nevermind! Still a good off-day for us even if the Phillies seemed determined to keep themselves from scoring. 154 pitches thru 8 innings thrown by ATL pitchers; 114 thru 9 by Phillies So despite all the Braves' 1st pitch swinging, it still winds up a 1-0, 8-1/2 game taking 3:08
