If so, perhaps: C--DeFelice; 1B--Green; 2B--Anderson; SS--Gotay; 3B--Conine... with Chavez, Beltran and Milledge in the OF. Do you really think that the above lineup is an automatic loss against the Reds?

    Right before the double,the Reds color guy said that with Bill Bray's stuff, he can get Shawn Green to roll it over and hit a grounder. Roll over that one!

    John Delcos is "chatting" from the press box and said that Sandy Alomar, Jr. is back so the Mets finally have a 3d catcher.

    That's very nice of them. I'll drive from DC to NY for a playoff game but I doubt I would for a regular season game. So if I'm selected and the game isn't played, they hold my money and collect the interest.

    The Reds telecast hasn't shown the Mets pen. I hope that Humber or Collazzo starts the 8th.

    Better than those two crews? Yes, but still horrid. I love when Green doesn't try to pull it and takes the outside pitch the other way.

    Let's hear it for this team. We heard Joe B. on FAN and many others talk about a lack of heart. We heard how poorly they play in Atlanta and how the season was crumbling. SO HOW ABOUT THIS TEAM NOW!

    KC--You're absolutely right. The game should be won or lost by the players, not the umps. If the crooked NBA ref was an ump, he could seize on any disagreement to toss a star player.

    Did you see that Feliciano didn't realize that the game was over? He ran off the mound to the dugout. He admitted it on FAN.

    PUT IT IN THE BOOKS! Get job (the pick-offs notwithstanding). Lots of Schaefer to go around but "big ups" to Pelfrey. FOX gave Beltran the POG but we know that it was Pelfrey.
