  1. Nicely done Gwreck!
  2. Tough loss. Willie Friggin' Harris.
  3. I was being sarcastic, metirish.
  4. Harris was a FA the Mets should have signed him just to avoid what just happened.
  5. They lost because no one responded to my "LETS."
  6. Two nice DPs today by the Mets, the other was when Wright dove, caught a bunt attempt in the air, and then through to 2d.
  7. Why do I go through the trouble of syncing FAN to MASN when the Mets play Washington? One reason is avoid moron Rob Dibble. According to a tweet, he said this today: @djshort: Not only did Rob Dibble just wish a pulled hamstring on Reyes, he insinuated that he used PEDs.
  8. I understand that it's difficult to catch a day game after a night game, so I understand why Barajas isn't catching even though he hit two homers last night, but then why is Pudge playing again?
  9. Bases loaded, none out, two innings in a row, and the hitters only got one run in (Ollie drove in the other one).
  10. [u:jxj4yj4e]The Washington Post[/u:jxj4yj4e]'s new beat reporter (Chico Harlan is now the Post's reporter in Japan), gives the Mets a couple of shots today. I don't mind us insulting the Mets, I do it all the time, but not an outsider. First paragraph: "The Washington Nationals and New York Mets, connected by Amtrak, I-95 and grim expectations, will play 17 more times this season, meetings that will most likely determine which one of them finds solace in not finishing last." Last paragraph: "For now, the Nationals can find comfort in two things. The season is only four games old, and on Saturday, at least they get to play the Mets again." http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2010/04/09/AR2010040906110.html

  12. Did Pagan double clutch or just hesitate because he assumed that the runner wouldn't go?
  13. It's sad that each of the NY sports stations have afternoon drive hosts that hate the Mets.
  14. Excellent play by Cora... and a blast by Rod-B!
  15. Extra Innings and mlb.tv are blacked out in the DC area when the Mets play the Nationals. I tried to listen to the vapid Bob Carpenter and moronic Rob Dibble, but that lasted for two innings. Carpenter said that Shea is now "a nice parking lot", which hurt, and Dibble said that the Mets lineup doesn't have batters that scare a pitcher so this is the Nationals chance to win games in the NL East. I'm now listening to FAN via mlb audio and it doesn't bother me that it's 5 seconds behind.
  16. His penthouse apartment in Manhattan is for sale. Asking price: $7.5 million (sycophant son not included). http://www.nytimes.com/2010/04/11/realestate/11deal2.html?8dpc

  21. A lefty reliever wearing 47. Looks familiar.
