    How does BVW have fewer votes than Familia? BVW signed him! BVW should have every vote as well as the ones added by the Russians. F him, his fantastic hair, his designer suits, and his always yapping mouth which told us that he had built the team to beat. Meanwhile, the Rays are in 1st place and their Senior Vice President, Baseball Operations Chaim Bloom was the one who didn't get the Mets job.

    Meso can unrestrict himself at any time by agreeing to go to Syracuse. Perhaps BVW can "wink wink" with him to convey that if Nido is hitting .200 in two weeks then Meso will be recalled.

    The Mets lost, deGrom was awful, and fans wasted their money (or sat through a 2 1/2 delay and the half-assed ticket exchange doesn't impress me) but at least the Wilpons didn't have to lose a home gate by playing a doubleheader today and that's really what counts.

    I'm getting this second hand: in Avengers Endgame, there is a shot of CitiField and one of the characters says "I miss the Mets".

    Rhame was suspended for two games for "intentionally" throwing near the head of Baby Rhys'. The pitcher who threw near Conforto got nothing. I assume that Rhame is going down for deGrom so the Mets won't be shorthanded unless and until he returns. If that's the case, can they not bring him up until September so it won't hurt as much?
