  1. The Mets are now 1 and 4 in the game before an off-day.
  2. Would you rather have Lugo, pitching well but a righty, face Harper, or Zamora, who hasn't pitched in the majors this season but a lefty, face Harper? I'd stick with Lugo. But what do I know?
  3. The MFPs are a bunch of whining babies. Do they actually believe that Jacob Rahme has pinpoint control? F them.
  4. Time to plunk a Phillie.
  5. Why is Warren Cromartie in the operating room?
  6. Is SNY doing live coverage of the surgery? If so, maybe they'll interview the Dr. while the operation is taking place the same way they conduct interviews while the game is ongoing.
  7. One run (perhaps) cost by Paul Emmel's incompetence. Three runs cost by Amad Rosario's incompetence.
  8. That was an astonishingly bad call. Even Angel Hernandez would not have made that call. Meanwhile, is there something wrong with Rosario? The yips?
  9. I thought that Rosario was supposed to be a good fielder. You might as well play Frazier there when he returns.
  10. It's a Sunday afternoon Mets game which usually means bad things will happen but they played yesterday as if it was Sunday so maybe they got it out of the way. Noah Syndergaard (1-1, 5.63, 1.13) pitches for the Mets. His numbers aren't great but The Athletic's Matthew Modica wrote today: [bLOCKQUOTE]I remain resolute in my belief that the best is yet to come for Noah Syndergaard, but I understand the frustration. His four-seam has usurped the sinker and I'll continue this mantra about increasing the usage of secondary pitches, especially the slide piece! My only concern is his first pitch strike percentage, which needs to improve. I have said this before and will say it again until it comes to fruition. If you can acquire Syndergaard, I'd highly recommend it, this stock is about to soar. https://theathletic.com/936075/2019/04/20/chaos-is-a-ladder-this-weeks-two-start-pitchers-early-season-ace-performances-and-more/https://theathletic.com/936075/2019/04/20/chaos-is-a-ladder-this-weeks-two-start-pitchers-early-season-ace-performances-and-more/[/bLOCKQUOTE] Nathan Grimm in Rotoworld is also optimistic about Noah: [bLOCKQUOTE]Thor has a frustrating 5.63 ERA in four starts, and on the heels of an injury-shortened season in 2018 some fantasy players may be experiencing buyer's remorse. Fret not, friend -- you didn't get scammed. Syndergaard's surface numbers belie the fact that he's been virtually the same pitcher he's always been, just with a few worse outcomes to start the year. He's still striking out nearly 30 percent of the batters he faces while walking just over 5 percent, and his expected stats per Statcast rank among the best in his career. Well-timed hits and an unusually low strand rate -- just 54.6 percent of batters are left on base, compared to 74.3 percent for his career -- seem to be the biggest perpetrators. With a little more luck on his side, Thor should be bringing down the hammer -- er, ax? -- sooner than later. https://www.rotoworld.com/article/digging/digging-unlucky-oneshttps://www.rotoworld.com/article/digging/digging-unlucky-ones [/bLOCKQUOTE] Dakota Hudson (RHP) pitches for St. Louis (0-1, 6.88, 2.33). He's their #3 prospect. This is his 4th start of the season and the longest he's lasted is 4 2/3 innings this season. Let's hope that SNY concentrates on the Mets today rather than Keith's nostalgia for St. Louis.
  11. Why would you wait until Monday? I would want clarity ASAP but perhaps they saving the airfare so he can fly back on the charter instead of separately. I imagine that there are MRI machines in St. Louis, too.
  12. On the IL, retroactive to April 16.
  13. That's not an error.
  14. Great job there Mickey. You burned the last bench player for NO DAMN REASON. The Mets have 10 coaches and the same crap goes on.
  15. Edgy MD wrote: Please don't send d'Arnaud up to bunt when deGrom could give it to you. EXACTLY!
  16. Drew Gagnon is next unless they lead which they may never do.
  17. The current way of thinking almost everywhere but the Mets is that you use your best reliever when you have to instead of saving him for a situation that might not happen. Mickey could have used Diaz for one batter but saved him for the 9th.
  18. Someone has to be sooner than Frazier's available. Gagnon up, Guillorme down.
  19. I thought that this was a review of ESPN's Sunday Night Baseball but it applies here, too. Sorry that you had to deal with those assclowns.
  20. Edgy MD wrote: I wonder if they recut that commercial for every market. That's not what this says. Go, Golden Eagles! !!! ... GO, CARP!! I wondered the same thing but don't see any others on their YouTube page.
  21. "Oh yes he did!" https://youtu.be/SfcaNuVgE-Qhttps://youtu.be/SfcaNuVgE-Q
  22. Get him out of there already and sign Keuchel.
  23. Tim Tebow went 2 for 3 with a double and two RBI as Syracuse wins the 1st game of today's doubleheader. You can keep up with the Mets affiliates here: https://www.mlb.com/mets/prospects/stats/affiliateshttps://www.mlb.com/mets/prospects/stats/affiliates
  24. Nice awareness, all-star catcher. Meso could have been that inept. WSH was given a run because the manager and his dozen coaches didn't play the IF in and then given another one because Ramos couldn't find the ball even though it was near him. WTF.
