    I'm in Florida and attended the previous, and apparently, final three games. Yesterday's was the best one, a full-house, deGrom on the mound, most of the Mets regulars played, and the Mets played well. As I drove home, I wondered if that would be the last game for a while.

    Lowrie could become known as "Brodie's Folly". They didn't need him but the former CAA Agent's gotta help out his former clients, he was dead weight last season and things aren't off to a great start this season. Plus, of course, it ties up the limited money that is available to help the team.

    Agreed. A bad call in the 7th when you've used your challenge is still a bad call which is supposed to be what the system is trying to prevent so have a "fifth umpire" looking at the monitors instead of having a manager throw the challenge flag. This does not apply to Don Mattingly who whines and then the umps decide to review it "on their own".

    I went to Target to buy my first packs of the new season and the cashier asked if they were for my son, I said: "no, for me". Then he asked why I bought them and after thinking of several rude replies just said: "because it means that spring is almost here." Does he question all purchases?

    Whatever the subject, can we keep the podcast to an hour or less? I enjoy the work of Dax Sheppard but I do not need 1:40 of Josh Gad or 2 hours of Claire Danes. An hour is enough and that's why "WTF" and "Conan Needs A Friend" are good. This applies to the Mets as well. The Athletic's Mets pod, as mentioned by G-Fafif, is only a half-hour and that's enough. Organize your thoughts, tell us your feelings about the SS Depth, and get off the phone inside of an hour.
