A Grandy walk and Cabrera single gave the Mets runners at the corners with 0 outs in the 1st. A Conforto K and a Walker DP ended that threat quickly. Grr.

I don't know that they would brawl if they were to meet in the postseason. That means this would likely spill into next season if further action by the Mets were going to be taken. Utley is 37 and is on a one-year deal with the Dodgers for 2016. I'm not sure what the odds are that Utley is even a Dodger next season...50/50 at best?
Cerrone's dad passed away on Monday after a brief lung cancer battle. This could explain why his blog posts have been slightly more pessimistic than usual about the Mets early this season. RIP
Due to weekend plans, I had gone without Mets baseball for over 36 hours! This was a good one to come back to. Harvey looked multitudes better than any other outing this season to me.

I want Harvey to go down because he is costing the team wins. Give him a head to toe MRI to rule out any injury he may be hiding and then send him away for three starts in the minors. If he's not hurt, then it is in his head. Let him work with Viola. Let him get away from the media and the city and the team. I agree with letting him work it out, but not at the expense of more ML losses. What is the definition of insanity again?
WHAT? So, he's going to make his next start? Crazy. At least that one will be an ESPN holiday gay dame against the Chi Sox. It won't just be the local reporters getting to see him, it'll give the national outlets a front-row seat for the suck.
He was the starting catcher from mid-April through July last season. That's longer than an extended cameo (Word Up!). I believe Kevin has more PA than any other Mets catcher since the start of last season. Travis went through his growing pains in 2013/2014 when the Mets weren't trying to win RIGHT NOW!
I haven't seen anything from Plawecki over the past two seasons that shows me he'll hit enough to be considered a #1 catcher. Even with Duda out for a minimum of six weeks, I'm more concerned about how long d'Arnaud will be away and what that solution will be if it's too much longer. Can Conforto catch?
An off day after a series win against our biggest rival is better than an off day after a loss. I'll certainly take the split over six games so far...all things considered.
