I'd like to see more than 20 minutes of offense out of this group, but I'll take the win for sure.

Sanchez does the job. Insurance would be nice.

Hey, offense! Any time you want to help win a ballgame it would be appreciated.

    Chipper out with a sore back, here is Atlanta's lineup: G Blanco LF M Kotsay CF K Johnson 2B M Teixeira 1B B McCann C J Francoeur RF M Prado 3B B Lillibridge SS T Hudson P

The way this team has been playing, Seaver would pitch a complete game 2 hitter, and allow a solo home run to Chipper...but Hudson would no-hit us.

The one time he did win the division he got outmanaged and swept by Lou Pinella playing small ball. You can put me down for thinking that Manuel may be part of the problem. If there is a shake-up, may it start with him. How many here think the 1999 shake up of coaches had an effect on the outcome of that season?

="Triple Dee"]Where is Jose V? Per Rotoworld on 4/15: Jose Valentin's agent estimates that he is two to four weeks away from playing in minor league games.

If we have to be unbalanced, can we play the Nationals 81 times a year? I DO NOT want to see rosters expanded unless we're going to contract 2-4 teams and realign again.

I just noticed that ESPN's Gamecast has the old NY Giants logo (no blue, no white, just orange on black) representing the Mets today. Can't say how long it's been like that.

The Nats should have won this game about 3 times before they lost. A win is a win and a sweep is a sweep, but that took way too long against the worst team in baseball.

Ryan Church is pretty freakin' awesome early this year.

Realistically, I think Joe goes down no matter how well he pitches when Wise is ready. Not that I agree with it either.
  24. TransMonk
Wouldn't Wise have to accept being demoted, where Smith wouldn't?
