I was surprised to read that MFY loss broke a 7 or 8 game winning streak for them in Houston. I thought Houston battled them better than that. Or have the trash cans been removed? Later

The bad outing was when they used him in relief in a "bullpen game". Maybe his head wasn't in that role, as he sees himself as a starter. But if you go back through the thread, you'll see that most of his recent appearances have been lights out. Later

Question my choice of words, but I was right. He didn't get through the fifth. Later

No. I'm never anxious to see them. I just wanted to be ready in case there was a sudden melt down and they hung a big crooked number on the scoreboard. Later

Or John Holmes? Get somebody up in the bullpen. Holmes has thrown 60+ pitches through four IP. He's reaching what has been his recent wall. Later

He may be hitting a wall. This is by far the most innings he has pitched in one season. Later

There were some stories a few days ago that Soto said the Lindor "isn't a leader". I don't remember the sources, or if this was verified, but maybe clubhouse drama was into their heads. As Yogi Berra said, "Baseball is ninety percent mental and the other half is physical.". BTW - I thought you were the new reincarnation of a different ex-member than Edgy identified. Later

I hope they didn't shoot their wad last night. Peterson deserves some run support, too. Later
