=G-Fafif post_id=17574 time=1564946450 user_id=55] Guillorme on the 40-man, Herrera and Tejada are not.

Guillorme was PH for in Syracuse so it appears that he'll be back tomorrow. https://www.milb.com/gameday/mets-vs-bisons/2019/08/04/575351#game_state=live,game_tab=,game=575351https://www.milb.com/gameday/mets-vs-bisons/2019/08/04/575351#game_state=live,game_tab=,game=575351 Herrera and Tejada getting no respect. I knew Alonso was holding back the offense. 6-0 And Noah looks like he's trying to cough it up faster than Mike Pelfrey could. OE: Whew! Later

I thought the only thing injured was his BA. At this point, it would require a baseball skills transplant. Later

Tim Tebow hasn't been in the lineup for a while, not even used as a pinch hitter. Is he on the IL? Later

=G-Fafif post_id=16221 time=1563404938 user_id=55] Ernie Broglio, 83. RHP for STL who won 21 games in 1960 and 18 in 1963. Really not a bad trade target.

I still want to give Starling the bird. Later

Many years ago, someone I knew who was a one-time Porsche owner told me "when you buy a Porsche you buy your own mechanic". I steered clear and have continued to do so since then. Later

=kcmets post_id=17461 time=1564860111 user_id=53] I was venting, every year a couple of social media MFY friends ball wash each other over this and it's really quite a sight. Dude was not Amelia Earhart, fellas.

=kcmets post_id=17448 time=1564802137 user_id=53] Am I evilly wrong to think after all these years that enough is enough of with the tragic death of Thurman Munson?

=whippoorwill post_id=17431 time=1564794422 user_id=79] So, do you get to watch any games?

But the Wilpons throw nickels around like bowling balls. They actually traded Vargas AND threw in cash to give him a call-up? Wow! To think, the entitled shit son of the entitled shit son will one day inherit this team. Later

=smg58 post_id=17004 time=1564438694 user_id=62] We basically got Nido without the fearsome bat. And we didn't even save a whole lot of money.
  21. MFS62
Another possible reason for this is that they're keeping Noah. He reportedly "doesn't like" to pitch to Ramos and maybe the Mets don't think Nido can hold up for the long haul/ pennant race. Just a thought. Later
  22. MFS62
A trading chip? Or trading another catcher? Or a salary dump? Baseball talking heads warn against trading within your own division, but this seems silly - unless there's more to it. Vargas has been more than serviceable (yes, I blew my pre-season prediction). Later

=bmfc1 post_id=16927 time=1564352599 user_id=73] I like him but he's a contact pitcher who will now have a bad defense behind him.
  24. MFS62
It takes one more starter off the market and makes those teams looking for one having to ante up more than they hoped to get one. I had read (one of the so-called experts) that the Mets were going to trade Noah and replace him with Stroman. Looks like they got their insurance policy first. Later

I knew that. I was being facetious. Later
