Can't find the post, but someone here mentioned that the approach reminds them of a Moneyball scenario. IIRC, there is a scene when the traditional baseball guys are wondering where they are going to replace their slugging first baseman's HR and RBI. Beane responded that you don't have to find that production in one player, but several players can make up that difference. Maybe they can do that. But can they find enough production to add the numbers of Nimmo, too? I'm not sure that's available. Later
