1. Good Brodie: I like JD Davis. He made a good decision with Alonso. Ramos hasn't been awful. Bad: Everything else

3. good quirk
4. There's all kinds of cool stuff but the connection there with Kath and drummer Danny Seraphine is pretty great too.
5. Faint praise for the 19 squad but I'm not nearly as hopeless as last year on this date. That said I see no catalyst, and am sobered by the notion that the guys who are performing now are playing out of their minds
6. Really close to the give up game right there. Solves the dilemma of whether I'd stay with ARS or go to Chicago going forward.
7. =bmfc1 post_id=13574 time=1560992719 user_id=73] =kcmets post_id=13570 time=1560990993 user_id=53] I really want this freakin' game bad.
8. And here he goes again. Give him something and he immediately wants to give it back.
9. Missed an opportunity to make a Max "Southern" Fried "Rock" joke here. Very disappointed with the way Matz coughed up the advantage he'd gotten so soon
10. deGrom's been pissed off all year. I wonder if he might be having Wifey troubles or something similar. It's like it's gone beyond simple in-the-moment sports frustration. I'm a little werried.
11. Yeah each of their albums had a few boogie numbers as well. But they were so much more organ-forward than their Southern Fried contemporaries. A tweener act at the intersection of adult contemporary-R&B and Southern Rock. Some Yacht-ness to 'em as well. Very well regarded by peers in the industry.
12. Here's a quiet storm sex-jam from our friends at ARS. It was their Greatest Hit, reaching No. 7 on the Billboards in 1977. Written by producer-founder Buddy Buie, keyboard player Dean Daughtry and drummer Robert Nix. It's Matz against Max (Fried), 7:20. Be there!
13. Mets prepping a little Champagne Jam tonight. 3 XBHs, 3 walks in 2+ innings so dar, Teheran working hard at 43 pitches
14. Steven Nogosek recalled along with Zamora. Gagnon down, Familia to DL with a shoulder lesion.
15. Benjamin Grimm wrote: Buck Leonard Dykstra Oh great one.
16. George Brett Hinchcliff
17. King Kelly Shoppach
18. Edgy MD wrote: Alonso at Wrigley in a day game during a warm spell. I'd root for about seven homers bouncing around the streets of Chicago. Storms are expected, though. Can see it delaying our flight and getting rained out.
