One issue if I may. Back in July/August whenever it was, they had Ralph Kiner night, and they presented him with a special plaque, akin to the one they gave Bob Murphy on his night, and gave Carter honoring his induction into Cooperstown. And they said that it was going to be hung alongside them in the Diamond Club Lobby (where the HOF is). Well I was there in the Astro series, and Ralph's plaque STILL ISN'T UP! If its not up today, I'm going to be convinced that they are going to do it when the new Citi Field Mets Museum goes up in 2009. By the way, I mentioned it in an IGT, but I just realized about 2009. Its going to be weird, and sad as well (especially to those who were there when it happened), to see the Mets honor the 40th anniversary of the 1969 Mets in a freshly opened ballpark while the site of the Miracle (and all three of the celebrations) is nothing more than a parking lot.
