    ]Sorry I don't know how to shop around. I figured if I'm going to be in last place I can do it without A-Rod, whom I loathe. Smg58 is the only who had a third baseman listed on his wish list so I offered him the trade. I'm not particularly more friendly with smg58 than anyone else posting on the league message board or here in this forum "I'm looking to trade Arod, please send offers" would be a good start. If nobody follows up on such a post they'd have nobody to blame but themselves when Arod goes to another team too cheaply. it seems that the trade has died before i even wrote this post, everyone should now realize that he's available and hopefully flood your inboc with fair offers.

    the wave is lame, its even worse than this new mets song, i'd love to have an anti-wave day where we bought up a section or two in themiddle and killed any waves! also, we need to chant "beat the traffic" at any fag who leaves early

    i'm waiting or a response from willets myself, i wont void any trade in a free league if the owner honestly believes it will help his team win and he couldnt do better. but this looks to me like "i'm in last, i dont care, i'll help my friend." the fact that he didnt publicly shop $-rod first is pretty damning, i'm in a league right now (a keeper league) where i'm "dumping" andy friggin pettite with his 5.5 ERA and i'm STILL shopping him around to avoid anyone saying i helped a contender by not getting the best offer i could.

    Can you please explain why you traded Alex Rodriguez for Youkilis and Ray? This is blatantly unfair and even if you wanted to deal arodfor some reason you obviously didnt shop him around as you'd have gotten far better offers. you're in last place by a mile and its very unsettling that a contender is getting this kind of help. if i dont hear an explanation for this trade i'll vote against it and hope enough people follow suit.

    I like this "move" too. When everyone has shown they can't hit you just make it an open position for whoever has the hothand that week. Part of me wants Hernandez to get another shot or Keppinger to see some ABs, but i think it might actually be smart to use this opportunity to get semi-regular ABs for Woodward and Valentin, 2 guys you are counting on off the bench and would like to keep fresh.

    Beltran 2 Wright 1 Floyd 1 Valentin 1 Reyes 1 LoDuca .5 Bell 2 O.Hernandez 1.5 three runs over five isnt good, and i'm going to be annoyed any time a pitcher is handed a lead and then proceeds to walk people and give up a blast. i could have given him nothing but i suppose a winning pitcher gets something barring an absolute collapse

    The official scorer ruled that a hit and an error allowing the runner to advance....i don't think i've ever seen a worse scoring decision than giving Olivo a hit on a 1-hopper to the SS. MLB should reprimand him.

    I'd cut that list down to Pelfrey, Owens, Gomez, Lindstrom, and Abreu if you want a list of guys likely to ever get 500 PA or 150 IP in the majors
