  2. theres a picture for some old guy i had a week ago but no picture for JOSE REYES???
  3. you shouldn't feel bad, you're just doing what you are allowed to do under a very flawed system.
  4. yeah, induce flyballs in a bandbox, great idea.
  5. wheres the merit in signing up all your family members and friends who dont care about baseball? at least in person required a commitment from people.
  6. Phillips spanks one. 11-7 Mets
  7. Edgy DC wrote: Sheesh, look what they won with last year. Nobody's talking about every day. Just trying to buy some rest. days off are fine, i'm just saying not all at once. give Wright, Reyes, LoDuca (why does he need off? he was just on the DL), and whoever else days off just not the same day
  8. i like the old "wait on line outside the stadium all day" deal... at least this way the scalpers earned their money by standing out there for 10 hours for a game they werent going to.

  10. wow, thats almost as stupid as keeping my money til next year. people are going to be running scams with those late-game tickets.
  11. thats what they mean? it seems to me that they are crediting your account with them, are you sure htat means you'll get the cash? i'm seeing SCAM$ gone wild if people can sell tickets to the last game of a series and then get paid again when the game isnt played
  12. ="bmfc1"]="Nymr83"]="bmfc1"]I wonder if tomorrow is "rest the infield day" lose the game day for the Mets. If so, perhaps: C--DeFelice; 1B--Green; 2B--Anderson; SS--Gotay; 3B--Conine... with Chavez, Beltran and Milledge in the OF. Do you really think that the above lineup is an automatic loss against the Reds? Gotay, Milledge, Beltran, Green, Conine, Anderson, Chavez, DiFelice should be a fairly certain loss against any major league team. if that were the every day lineup they'd lose 120 games ]I think sitting Reyes for a day would increase the odds of the team winning. He just looks lost. theres nothing wrong with that, but don't make it the same day you sit everyone else down

  14. yeah i'd rather add some color to the black...but i'd rather they just didn't wear it at all.
  15. Perez has walked 3 straight batters, maybe we can send him down to the minors for 4 or 5 years and he'll come back smacking bombs like Rick Ankiel.
  16. yup.
  17. DON'T OVERLOOK THIS: ]Mets Non-Played Game Postseason Ticket Return Policy: No refund will be made on the face value of this ticket, or any applicable service charges, except as expressly provided hereon. In the event the game indicated on the face of the ticket is not played, refunds, if applicable, will be issued as follows: All tickets, whether issued through the New York Mets or any other Participating or Non-Participating Club or the offices of Major League Baseball or its Broadcast Partner(s), are AUTO ACCOUNT CREDIT (as indicated on the front), and the only refund available from the New York Mets is that the Mets ticket account of record will automatically be credited in an amount equal to the face value of the ticket and any applicable service charges. Tickets to unplayed games will have no value and SHOULD NOT be returned to the New York Mets. Translation: if you have tickets for game 5 and there is no game 5 you won't get your money back, you'll get a Mets "store credit" for next year.
  18. the "standard" roto-setup is 2xC, 1B, 2B, 3B, SS, MI, CI, 5xOF, UT, 9xP what we have is a compromise between that and the bare-bones approach that you've advocated. this is all in old threads and i don't care to rehash it now as i'm sure we'll all be arguing again in february. the long period for waivers and vetoes are both because everyone doesnt check the site every day, i'd have no problem with 24 hours but others might. we'll talk about it when its time for next year to roll around.

  20. the entire forum has flooded with month old POTG threads! and its all that robot's fault! damn his never-tiring circuits!

  22. League Leaders 2007 (from Espn.com) David Wright: Ranks 7th in NL in BA (.320) Ranks 12th in NL in HR (26) Ranks 9th in NL in RBI (91) Ranks 5th in NL in R (94) Ranks 9th in NL in BB (80) Ranks 6th in NL in SB (30) Ranks 6th in NL in OBP (.412) Ranks 11th in NL in SLG (.542) Ranks 8th in NL in OPS (.955) Since the All-Star break (minimum 200 plate appearances) Wright leads the NL in BA and OBP, is 2nd in OPS and Rs, and is 6th in RBIs edit- i am now Turk Wendell, please excuse me while I strike out Big Mac twice in a doubleheader.
