Harvey comes to the plate.

Keep pouring it on. Chasing the starter early in game one is how you sweep a series.

I like this game so far. A lot.

I dunno, but three or four more runs here in the 1st and they just may 'Harvey-proof' the game.

Or maybe not.
It's the dreaded 'Give-Back' inning again. This entire staff can't seem to master the art of the shut-down frame.

And he walks him.

Best Matthew Broderick baseball connection: He received batting instruction from Charlie Lau in Max Dugan Returns.

Walking the pitcher is never a good thing.

Harvey is simply a bad player right now. He needs to be in Vegas working out his control issues. Walking thevpiycher with a 5 run lead is a pretty unforgivable sin/sign you have no idea where the ball is going

Sending Harvey to Las Vegas to work on his problems is like sending someone to Colombia for coke rehab.

Harvey, get the ball over the plate!
They gave you a 7 run lead, and you're trying to give it back.
I'm having a John Niese flashback.

Conforto-a-BOOM

Remember in the spring when there was talk that he was going to be a fourth outfielder or even go to Vegas to get steady at-bats?

Not gonna happen.

Nice to see some tack-on.

I was afraid this flooded basement performance of Harvey's was ruining all their mo.

I'm having a last week in Milwaukee flashback.

I'm hoping there's some some repetitions needed for Harvey off surgery and what not and he'll round out into somewhat closer to his 'norm' by July.

Boy, I hope so, because I can't see having all that much confidence in him right now. Heck, I literally forgot he was in the rotation the other night when explaining rotations to MiniWolf. "It's Wheeler tonight, then Milone, then deGrom, then Gsellman... then whoever the fifth guy is, then Wheeler will pitch again on Thursday." I'm the worst.
