No idea what this means but someone here probably does. It sounds like a bad thing.

Matt Meyers@mtmeyers
That ball that fell between Bruce and Granderson had an xBA of .000 based on exit velocity and launch angle.

Smoker was squeezed a little but that don't make me feel any better. Walks in a run.

I hope eventually this Bruce situation becomes funny to me because right now I'm taking it waaaaaay to serious.

Ha, how do I turn that into a meme?

NO, don't tell me!

Shit. Cardinals already have a 3-1 lead in the 2nd.

It's very possible that we can wake up tomorrow with the Mets in a three-way tie for the wild card, with the Marlins 3 games out and the Pirates 3.5 games out.

Getting more like '73 everyday. Worse, actually. Instead of injured players returning for the stretch run we have them dropping like flies.

3 run bomb by Garcia. Tsk tsk.

Grandy goes back on balls in center like a sand-crab.

That's a little rough on that play, no?

This is now 18 runs scored in the last 8 games (or not quite 8 at this point).
And seeing as how 3 of those runs were scored in extra innings, in regulation time it's 15 runs scored over the last 70 innings.

On the flip side, our lazy-ass fly-ball swings are in prime form right now.

If you're asking if I think I'm riding him too hard, no. It was a tough play, no doubt, but he should have zipped right back to the track, not looked up at the ball every step. Grandys a better fielder than that so maybe there are other variables I am not aware of. Is his knee hurting too?

Just asking, saw the play once and thought he didn't look sand-crab-esque.
No biggie.

Gary's stalking the CPF again, he just threw this exact fact out there.

Hi booth!
