I'm not that down on that (Bruce out at 3rd) play.
Yeah you don't want to make the last out there, but when it takes a perfect throw to get you by a hair then you're going to gain by that chance more often than not. Think about how many times when our precious few hits w/RiSP didn't even score a run.

I'm watching the French language channel.
Boy do they love Jeff Francouer there. And their Nap Lajoie film clips ...

I wish there really was a French language channel. I'd actually be able to understand what they'd be saying.

In the meantime, not understanding the Spanish is way more enjoyable than understanding the English-speaking ESPN crew.

When did Mat Latos get on this team??
(looking it up) June 29th as it turns out, either I missed that when it happened or totally forgot about it since.
One of my least favorite players in MLB over the last decade or so, so now I have extra reasons to root against him.

I hope Cespedes hits a liner up the middle so hard that it knocks all his tats off.

Did you see Harper fake throwing the ball into the stands? What a jerk.

I saw this. What a dick.

Wow. 16 games vs the Mets and Muffy w/a hit in every one.

The 1986 uniforms look cool. I wouldn't mind them using them on Sundays next year, minus the patch and nameplate.

Good lord, they are really really covering The Muffster in slathers of %$*$#!

I was listening to the Reds game today (zzzzz) and they said that there will be a ceremony tomorrow for Jay Bruce to honor his years with the Reds. I hope that Bruce responds better to his return than Walker did.

Ugh. I couldn't take it anymore. I got Howie on now.
Earlier WOR was all Spanish, at least thru MLBtv.

Call me nuts but I think they should go with a solid-orange alt, similar to the current blues.

Heisey is a power hitter* who's PH'ing with a runner on, one out, down by four, and he's bunting!!!!!
Wow, thanks dude. That's a far worse move than Bruce trying for 3rd earlier.

* 8 HRs in just 130 ABs, and 12 of his 25 hits this year for XBs

ESPN booth: Seth Lugo is potentially a strike away from the biggest ovation of his life.

Lugo get strikeout, ESPN cuts away before viewers can see and hear said biggest ovation.

Sigh.

Great game by Lugo!

I have one of those orange batting practice jerseys. I kinda look pumpkinish when I wear it.

Has that video board in deep right field -- to the right of the Coke sign -- always been there?

They added it a few years into Citi, not original.

Get that man a decent beer. The hell with Schaefer. Great outing by Lugo. It's hard to imagine that the Mets are in the pennant race with roughly half of their current starting rotation coming from Las Vegas.

Thanks. I never noticed it on the broadcasts before.
