Probably not the first offender of 2016, but Delmon Young is as good a place as any to open the season of ballplayers who behave lousy, after allegedly choking a valet in a drunken rage at the hotel where he resides.

Best part of the Arrest Affidavit is the part that list Young's occupation as "unemployed" - lets hope he stays that way.

Young had previously been arrested in New York for spewing drunken anti-Semitism. So maybe his hateful drunken bigotry of choice changes depending on ethic makeup of the town he's in at the time.

He also is a Crane Pool legend for triggering this golden post by LWFS, and for metirish's observation (further down the thread) that a Delmon Young acquisition tends to make things go pear-shaped in more ways than one, as his head is actually shaped like a pear.
