Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 Clippard hangs another one. He's just not as sharp with the location as he was in August. FAMILIA IN
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 Yuk. Thats 3 guys who hit it hard this inning so far
Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 Jeurys coming in to face the tying run at the plate. Going for the four-out save.
Gwreck Old-Timey Member Posted October 9, 2015 Author Posted October 9, 2015 Whatever. Adrian Gonzalez is the best hitter in this lineup, it was just a single (nice job by Cespedes to hold him to that). I would have left Clippard in to face Turner.
Lefty Specialist Old-Timey Member Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 Note to Terry: Addison Reed in the 8th tomorrow.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 Gotta double switch somebody, no? The 9th spot is due up this inning. Not sure who though. Duda & d'Arnaud mad the final outs.
TransMonk Old-Timey Member Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 (edited) So, is Familia going to bat in the bottom of the 8th? Must be double switch somewhere, right? Edited October 9, 2015 by Guest
Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 You could put Plawecki in for d'Arnaud.
Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 Duda out. Johnson to second, Murphy to first.
Elster88 Old-Timey Member Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 Terry not fucking around he's going to the duke

Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 Yeah Turner, sit down! Eight in the books.
Piggiestomatoes Old-Timey Member Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 Sit down you Leprechaun looking MF'er.
Centerfield Old-Timey Member Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 Ok. Let's score 15 and I will start to feel comfortable.

Elster88 Old-Timey Member Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 Now that the crisis has passed. I really think Clippard got burned out when Terry went to him every day when he was doing so well. Could still be feeling the effect?

Edgy MD Site Manager Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 I hail Murphy's glove.Everything you ever learned, yo learned from Dave Hudgens, Turner.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 You had dirt from Yankee Stadium at the birth of both of your children? Really? How does that work?
TransMonk Old-Timey Member Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 They used the same three "Let's Go, Mets!" kids in the 9th as they did earlier in the game.Bad form, TBS.
Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted October 9, 2015 Posted October 9, 2015 Yeah, a two run lead is good, but, hey, how about a 3-4 run lead?
