I've been looking for a thread to jump back in here for a while now but really haven't found one where any comment I make hadn't already been made and/or ridiculed, so I just figured I'd start my own.

Happy to see the Boys doing well, fun to be a Mets fan again. I was totally out in the hinterlands for a while there. Stopped watching games entirely last year.

All I ever wanted was a competitive team and I felt like as a fan, ownership wasn't doing their part. But now I'm digging the Neo-Generation K staff. The CarGo-Flores-Cespedes fiasco was great drama and what do you know? The Mets came out on the right side of one of those for once.

Hope you don't give me too much shit for the long absence, I'd like to hang with you guys again.
