Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted December 7, 2014 Posted December 7, 2014 Here's an all-purpose Yankees Suck thread, inspired by this truck I tried to run off the road:
MFS62 Old-Timey Member Posted December 7, 2014 Posted December 7, 2014 Must have been a garbage truck.Later
seawolf17 Old-Timey Member Posted December 8, 2014 Posted December 8, 2014 Seriously. That was perfect; I feel like this thread is geared up for big things this year.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted December 8, 2014 Posted December 8, 2014 What is the proper response to trolls who see discussion of good players on the Mets and butt in with "Enjoy while you can because he's haha going to be a yankee lol "?What an awful way to root for a team. It's like the rich kid in an eighties film getting pulled over with a car full of coke and bragging that haha his dad will have him out in an hour and probably have the cop's badge too lol.

The Yankees are obsessed with over the hill championship Mets and Red Sox"
Guest Mets Willets Point Guests Posted December 8, 2014 Posted December 8, 2014 I was assured by MFY fans in the past that Pedro Martinez and Nomar Garciaparra would be donning the pinstripes.
Guest d'Kong76 Guests Posted December 8, 2014 Posted December 8, 2014 Derek Jeter: 2 Witness an Icon will soon be airing on MLB.Set your dvr's, there will be a test next week.He retired recently, in case you hadn't heard. He was really really really good!
Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted December 16, 2014 Posted December 16, 2014 I hope this story goes on, just like this, for months and months.A-Rod is in "unbelievable shape." Yankees have to "anticipate the worst."
Centerfield Old-Timey Member Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 Crazy. I didn't expect that they would sign Headley and give up on A-Rod at 3rd. Don't they already have Beltran at DH? Do they still have Ichiro? Sometimes I feel like the MFY's have more roster spots than everyone else.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 Cashman has already chimed in with saying that ARod wasn't the same player offensively or defensively even prior to the suspension. He also wasn't hitting RHPs very well either.btw, last time he played as many as 140 games? ... [u:uo3z9rsy]2007[/u:uo3z9rsy]No, Ichiro is no longer on their roster.NYY DHs in 2014: Beltran 76, Soriano 25, Jeter 15, McCann 13, Ellsbury 5, Teixeira 4, Pirela 2 (I have NO idea who this is), Johnson 2 (that would be Kelly), Young 2 (Chris who they also re-signed), Romine 1
