Gary taking a shot at the pythagorem differential..

The Pythagorean Theorem tells us that if it's 90 feet from home to first and 90 feet from first to second, the distance from home to second is 127.27922061357855439215198517887 feet. More or less.

More or less is correct as the bases don't actually form a perfect square.

I'm gonna trust these guys with a 9-run lead and crash now.

I'm glad they didn't have to face this Jansen down a run.

Sometimes Torres looks like he borrowed Lonnie Smith's skates.

In the second printing of Dickey's book he is changing the reference to Aaron Harang from 'respectable' to 'mediocre at best.'

Just to show you the mentality of the typical MFY fan. I was out with a friend when we saw the results of last night's game. Not only did he dismiss RA completely because his team, with the $81.5 mil infield, "beat the crap" out of him, but he went on to say that the knuckleball isn't really a pitch. Jeez, I nearly shoved my beer in his face. Congrats RA. Hopefully tomorrow, we hear that you get to start the All Star game.

YSIII isn't really a ballpark.
Roger Clemens isn't really a free man.
Alex Rodriguez isn't really a human being.

This can be fun.
