R.A. Dickey aims for win #10 and continue the Mets' winning ways in Tampa Bay. Some dude name David Price starts for the Rays.

Rays don't stand a chance tomorrow night. Not with Dickey and his Radically Altered knuckler. We should beat 'em even with eight Jason Bays in the lineup.

At least a couple of those bouncers are bound to sneak through the infield; we just have to figure out a way to group them into a couple of runs.
Hopefully we can do all that before Maddon figures out to plant all seven of his spare fielders in the infield between 2nd & 3rd.

what's the ground rule for the Trop roof? maybe Bay can hit a super-pop up.

There are actually several rules depending on which catwalk--or "ring" as they call them--your pop fly hits.

Do any of them give Bay a chance at a cheap homer?

There should be a ground-rule at MFYS that a ball in the first ten rows down the line is an OUT, kinda like when you're a teenager and you are out for hitting it over the fence and losing the ball

Prediction: By next month, a Tampa dance music station will have a DJ going by the air name Jordan E. Valdez-Spin.

I'll take that bet. I bet that by next month a Tampa dance music station will not have a DJ going by the air name Jordan E. Valdez-Spin.

My favorite song (and the only one I know of, save for Buccaneer fight songs) that invokes my college-era stomping grounds.

Name of a top DJ in my long-ago Tampa days: Mason Dixon. So I'm almost tempted to put money to mouth.

Interesting to see Duda sit against the lefty but not Davis.

Wright must have had a terrible jump, they rarely throw for the trail runner on a double-steal.

Also, isn't wright something like 7 for 15 stealing bases this year? Time for the red light!

We make way too many outs on the bases.

Another defensive misplay by Wright. Ruled an infield hit, but looked like a bad decision to barehand to me.

Keith agreed that there was no reason for him to barehand the ball.

That was Upton but yea, Wright still had plenty of time.

We are workin Price. 40 pitches after 2

Gah. Price Ks the side. But that took quite a few pitches. His innings are numbered :)

He did. Almost looked like he wasn't quite ready for it.
Was also a perfect throw.

Not so sure I agree with Keith there. I doubt he gets him if he gloves it.

Interesting also that they called it a hit, because if they didn't ...

Dickey cruising, 27 2/3 scoreless at the end of the 3rd.

This is one game I really wish I was home to watch. Radio can't do the knuckleball justice.

Whoa. I was wondering where that 1 in the H column came from. There's no way that shouldn't have been an error.
