Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted April 11, 2012 Posted April 11, 2012 Choose the option that best fits your feeling on the Mets' slugging first baseman
Centerfield Old-Timey Member Posted April 11, 2012 Posted April 11, 2012 Now. Bottom 6. 2R HR to put the Mets ahead.
duan Old-Timey Member Posted April 11, 2012 Posted April 11, 2012 it won't be a 2 run homer but it will be this inning.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted April 11, 2012 Posted April 11, 2012 Hit one deep into the valley from whence his fever arose.
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted April 11, 2012 Posted April 11, 2012 This contest is over.
Centerfield Old-Timey Member Posted April 11, 2012 Posted April 11, 2012 2 run HR must be coming later then.
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted May 16, 2012 Posted May 16, 2012 So apparently Francessa picked up from Terry's breakfast event this morning that unless trends change in the next couple weeks Ike could be the one to go when Bay returns (Doodoo to first, Niuewy to right). I think that's probably a good idea if this shit keeps up.

Centerfield Old-Timey Member Posted May 16, 2012 Posted May 16, 2012 This is crazy. How can he be this bad? He must be hurt (or sick) no?
Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted May 16, 2012 Posted May 16, 2012 From You Make the Call: Ike Davis:This was in an e-mail that I received from the Mets this morning:Ike Davis is projected by Bloomberg Sports to bounce back this season, with 22 homers and 83 RBI.I'm actually hoping for a bit more than that. Those numbers don't seem like much to crow about.Right now, with 2/9 of the season complete, Ike projects to 22 home runs and 58 runs batted in. (Not to mention 9 doubles, 49 runs scored and .164/.221/.303.)Yeesh!
ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted May 16, 2012 Posted May 16, 2012 Either Ike is sick hurt, or needs a couple weeks at AAA.
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted May 16, 2012 Posted May 16, 2012 Well, then, Bay better find some hits in his bat, because this team is like one Ike short of being pretty good.
Gwreck Old-Timey Member Posted May 16, 2012 Posted May 16, 2012 Duda 1BNieuwenhuis RFBay LFDavis - AAAI'd be ok trying this for a while.
batmagadanleadoff Old-Timey Member Posted May 16, 2012 Posted May 16, 2012 Is it too late to pick an option in this poll, what with Ike still not getting his first hit yet?
Edgy MD Site Manager Posted May 17, 2012 Posted May 17, 2012 I think his first hit will be against the Lehigh Valley IronPigs.
