It's 8:23 and we still haven't gotten to the National Anthem....

Thought Reyes was gonna be watching from the stands.
He was introduced in the introduction line.
Whats the deal with that?

At 8:28 someone starts singing something.
Hey, she's good.

Did the Mets get hosed on the "All-Stars Among Us"? I didn't see a Mets logo during the flipbook intro, and I didn't see a jersey out there either.

For the record:
Biggest ovation during intros: Scioscia and Vlad Guerrero
Biggest boos: Anyone wearing a Yankees or Red Sox uniform

Wow, I haven't had goosebumps in a long long time.
I like this number and the images that we see with it.

And I hear ya Doc.
This game should have started at 8:17 the latest.

I wanna see Reyes on a comfy table gettin his back rubbed.

So she's from Glee.
I don't watch that, but I did catch an ep early on this year, and that was the last time I got goosebumps.
When I saw these two kids sing Lionel Richie's "Hello".
It was beautiful.

So I amend myself.
It wasn't a long ,long, time ago.

Anthem all sung.
The most beautiful grass we've ever seen is ready to be played on.

LETS GO N.L.![/bigpurple]

That National anthem sucked. It's now 8:42 and no baseball yet, I detest Fox MLB.

I detest MLB for letting FOX do what they have done to baseball.

Nice catch by Ichiro!
Oh, for the A.L.
DOH!

Okay, okay.
Is Jeter gonna have that play before everything he does?
I think the next babe he lays down with might protest that game.

He's getting married in November. (Jokes on him, he'll have a couple of weeks to help plan)

i'd be surprised if he _doesn't_ have a Sheppard introduction.

Did Wright forget his shoes? Looks like he borrowed a pair from Brian Fuentes.

Already recorded for his wedding?
As gruesome as the implications would be, if he has that in the can for future useage....
that still would be pretty kool.

Ha, Cano sucks.

So much of whatever drama exists for the ASG is kinda ruined by interleague play, no? Tim and Joe keep trying to manufacture "these guys never see each other" drama, but it's not working.

To an extent.
But there's still something kool about seeing all those different uniforms on one field.

True.

I can't believe they allowed Derek Jeter to strike out looking. DON'T THEY REALIZE HE'S IN MOURNING?

WOW!
A real honest to goodness full extension diving catch by Braun.

I have a checklist of things I would like to see tonight.

1) Great catch _?_
