metirish Old-Timey Member Posted May 22, 2010 Posted May 22, 2010 Jesus Christ Chris Rose, that would have a great play from Scutaro if he makes it.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted May 22, 2010 Posted May 22, 2010 All right guys (JB & TMc) calm down - he caught a freakin' pop-up!
bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted May 22, 2010 Posted May 22, 2010 Joe Buck announces as if we're watching to hear him and not watch the game. I think he thinks it's "Joe Buck Live"
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted May 22, 2010 Posted May 22, 2010 I like Bay busting it home there just in case Angel tried for 2nd and there was a tag play.

seawolf17 Old-Timey Member Posted May 22, 2010 Posted May 22, 2010 Wright becoming my least favorite Met. Hope he wins me back.
Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted May 22, 2010 Posted May 22, 2010 Oh, Cervelli. This guy's awesome with runners on base with two out and the lights at 70% of full power or greater. You have to pitch around this guy by whacking him in the concussion-proof helmet.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted May 22, 2010 Posted May 22, 2010 We gotta start getting these bottom of the order pinheads out!!

Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted May 22, 2010 Posted May 22, 2010 I saw it earlier too.Nyjer's one of those guys who's likable and fun to have on your team until you see him for a while. Problem is he's not very good and has even been getting benched lately.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted May 22, 2010 Posted May 22, 2010 Can't. Too busy hoping this guy excercises his right to remain silent.

Makes Hanley Ramirez look like Charlie Hustle out there. That was awful. I'm assuming the thought it was gone, but either way, that's pretty bad. Hope... um... whoever the veteran leader of the Nationals is these days (Pudge? Dunn?) kicks the crap out of him.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted May 22, 2010 Posted May 22, 2010 Another base to another pinhead!!And after he had him 0-2
Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted May 22, 2010 Posted May 22, 2010 How the fuck does Ken Russo have three RBI in these two games?
bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted May 22, 2010 Posted May 22, 2010 Geez, make them hit the frigging ball. Mets pitchers get ahead in the count and start nibbling. All of a sudden, 0-2 is 2-2 and then 3-2. That's one of the reasons Mets SPs pitch so few innings--they nibble too much. Did Nieve think that Russo was going to hit a slam?
Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted May 22, 2010 Posted May 22, 2010 Let's double-switch the defensively-superior guy with three hits out of the game. For gits and shiggles!
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted May 22, 2010 Posted May 22, 2010 That was the grittiest at bat ever , McCarver is embarrassing.
Gwreck Old-Timey Member Posted May 22, 2010 Posted May 22, 2010 Wouldn't the better double-switch have been to bring Blanco into the game?
