FOX reminds me that the Mets have lost 8 of their last 10.
Thanks, FOX.

Love the Jerry face in the joepet 'toon.

Fox screws me and shows the Phils/BoSox game down here in south Jersey.

Good thing I have this lil cheap AM radio I got from the bank years ago.

2-out double on lazy liner past third base for Bay. Thanks for jogging, Randy Winn!

2 - sniffle through one. Wright got a meaningful hit.

Can I get a Yay?

David Wright gets thrown out at third. Is that him acutely sacrificing himself to guarantee the run or him overaggressively ending a rally?

Whoever had '5th batter' in the when will the Yanx have their first pitching coach visit question, please come to the window to collect your winnings.
Betting is still open for over/under wagers of the number of mound conferences during the game - currently set at 37.

It's him screwing up actually. He stuttered stepped around 2nd and then decided to go. Should of either kept going or stopped entirely.

Didn't see it live but the replay showed that Wright made a blunder rounding second, may have scored if not for the mistake, certainly wouldn't have been thrown out.

Well, without the stop/restart he keeps the inning alive but there's no way he scores on that play.

Wright becoming my least favorite Met. Hope he wins me back.

So... point out the "baserunning taboo," but ignore the slo-mo replay showing Dabidrye sliding in safe (mistake though it was) playing as you speak.

GOD I missed you, McCarver.

Good so far:
- Pelfrey getting lots 'o grounders
- scoring two after two out and none on

Bad so far:
- Third out at 3B killed what could have been a larger rally
- walking the #8 hitter w/2 outs and allowing the Yanx to clear the pitcher's spot

Another nice catch by Ike (even if he didn't go over the rail this time).

THAT's edge, Ike.

Well put. He's bad in a way that no other announcer is bad.

This stadium is puttin my KaBoom stuff outta bidness.[/quote:3mo9g9q0]

Not only that, but it makes the game less exciting and puts the Mets at a disadvantage when they face better teams. Just ask Joe Buck.

Maybe Jeter would have caught Bay's hit if he wasn't thinking about the girls in the front row that he was talking to while he was on deck.
