Among the items found in the Times Square bomber's apt. " a "well-worn" Mets cap. Were he a YLDB, no doubt his effort would have been successful.

I thought the London Underground guy's insignia was ambiguous.

So, to clarify, Phillies fans puke on children; Met fans puke on America.

My informal survey form years of working with Doctors from Pakistan and India has Pakistanis mostly as Mets fans and the Indians as MFY fans.

You know the media will dig up pictures of him posing at Mets games.

You all are missing the most important question here: Was it a blue cap or a black cap? We know that true fans have the blue, would-be terrorists looking for a disguise would favor the black.

"This is a hateful stereotype. I am a proud son of
Calcutta and my favorite squadron is the Metropolitans

Police say both men are in their 40s. One of the suspects was seen wearing a blue and orange Mets jacket.

Man, it's great to know the Mets can still be used by publicity hogs on a budget.

They have orange skin, they could have just worn plain blue tee shirts and cut the word Mets out of the fabric.

I like Snooki's jugs, I named them "Bonilla" and "Vaughn" after two of our more full figured Mets.

She actually stayed the whole game, which was surprising given the weather.

I'd be willing to bet that Snooki couldn't tell you if a baseball was made by being blown up with air or stuffed with feathers and, at this point, I don't think she goes anywhere without being paid to do so - although the thought of the 'Pons spending money for that just boggles the mind. It's not like the publicity from her presence is going to increase attendance ... is it?

She may also be sporting a few inches of boot heel.

Could the jersey and hat be any more fresh from the shop?

I think she gets points for not wearing any black in her Mets regalia, having the bill of her cap properly curved, and staying for the whole game...

been declining for how long?, since I have lived here(1994) people like her have been making a living for doing nothing really.

I agree with you though, Paris Hilton on being asked about Kim kardashian "I'm the original".....hard to argue that

The recursive answer to that is "Since you got old."

Empires wind down gradually. It used to take centuries, but in modern times, its more like decades.
But if i were to pick a date, i'd say since we elected a B-movie cowboy actor as President. but i'll let the aliens sort out the rubble of our fallen civilization.
