HahnSolo Old-Timey Member Posted April 15, 2010 Posted April 15, 2010 Jeez, we probably should up by 12 or 13[/quote:2y2hrxhk]That wild pitch was big. I was not looking forward to another wasted bases loaded opportunity. Seven hits, five walks, one error, and two wild pitches, and they have five runs. For this team, that's efficient.

HahnSolo Old-Timey Member Posted April 15, 2010 Posted April 15, 2010 We have a solid first-base prospect in Buffalo, we have an aging sort-of propsect who tore up spring training also at Buffalo, and Fernando Tatis is on this roster why?[/quote:2bel7bji]Um, hello? The ump wasn't granting him time but when Pelfrey saw him backing out he stopped his motion as though time had been called.

bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted April 15, 2010 Posted April 15, 2010 Clutch performance by Pelf. Very impressive. On the post-game, Castillo told Ed that before the season, he told Pelfrey that if he won 15 games, he would buy him a watch. 2 down, 13 to go. Howie laughed and said that this was a great marketing opportunity for the Mets. AdamRubinESPN Mets first shutout in Denver in 71 games in franchise history in the city.
