Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted April 14, 2010 Posted April 14, 2010 rally time. r2 on, 0 out
seawolf17 Old-Timey Member Posted April 14, 2010 Posted April 14, 2010 Turned on the game, saw runners on base from the overhead shot, assumed that we were already in the bottom of the inning.
TransMonk Old-Timey Member Posted April 14, 2010 Posted April 14, 2010 RISP for fuck's sake. It's bringin' me down.
seawolf17 Old-Timey Member Posted April 14, 2010 Posted April 14, 2010 That was fucking obnoxious, Seth Smith.
TransMonk Old-Timey Member Posted April 14, 2010 Posted April 14, 2010 Smith is now on my shit list.Nice play, Jacobs.
seawolf17 Old-Timey Member Posted April 14, 2010 Posted April 14, 2010 Nice play by Jacobs on the reverse DP. Reyes should have slapped the tag hard on Seth Smith's head.
Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted April 14, 2010 Posted April 14, 2010 AARON COOK, YA BEEN FRENCHED.
TransMonk Old-Timey Member Posted April 14, 2010 Posted April 14, 2010 A couple of singles and a double get the run back for the Rox, but Niese pitches his way out of a jam.
seawolf17 Old-Timey Member Posted April 14, 2010 Posted April 14, 2010 Jose Reyes, apparently hit by a falling piano on the way down the line, somehow fails to beat out a grounder in the hole. Nice play by Troy Tulowitzki.
bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted April 14, 2010 Posted April 14, 2010 Note to SNY: maybe live interviews while the game is going on is a bad idea.
Guest themetfairy Guests Posted April 14, 2010 Posted April 14, 2010 Note to SNY: maybe live interviews while the game is going on is a bad idea.[/quote:39ljuyr2]Usually Burkhardt is good about breaking away from interviews for thinks like Wright's 2-run Kaboom, but he was interviewing Pelfrey in some concrete bunker or something.3-1 good guys!
Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted April 14, 2010 Posted April 14, 2010 David Wright chop. Thass sassifying.
Guest attgig Guests Posted April 14, 2010 Posted April 14, 2010 geez... get a lead... give it right back...
Guest themetfairy Guests Posted April 14, 2010 Posted April 14, 2010 Crap - a long ball makes it 4-3 Rockies.
Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 14, 2010 Posted April 14, 2010 Still no local Mets coverage... I'm gonna go punch a Mormon right in their tabernacle.
nymr83 Old-Timey Member Posted April 14, 2010 Posted April 14, 2010 Cook comes home to score as the Mets fuck up again, this time throwing to 2nd without looking him back at 3rd
Guest John Cougar Lunchbucket Guests Posted April 14, 2010 Posted April 14, 2010 more shitty execution...
bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted April 14, 2010 Posted April 14, 2010 That pisses me off more than the 3-run homer. They gave away a run.
Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted April 14, 2010 Posted April 14, 2010 Jacobs makes the kind of error that only a seasoned professional shitty first baseman makes. 5-3. Niese gets the next guy, so... that was unnecessary.Good thing the team's hitting so well with men on; otherwise, we might be in trouble here.
Frayed Knot Old-Timey Member Posted April 14, 2010 Posted April 14, 2010 I know that it sometimes just seems this way when you're not playing well, but are we going to get a call in our favor this year?Tonight there's been two close calls at 2nd and we haven't gotten either of them. One cost a run directly, the other maybe prevented from building one.
nymr83 Old-Timey Member Posted April 14, 2010 Posted April 14, 2010 there was a game, i think the extra inning one but not sure, where i remember commenting that the umpires were giving us everything

Guest Kong76 Guests Posted April 14, 2010 Posted April 14, 2010 Keith going on about having to stare at some girl notrealizing they were on the air.
Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted April 14, 2010 Posted April 14, 2010 Four pitch walk to Jacobs? A nice omen.A little patience here, and the Mets could nudge the wheels off the Cook wagon.
Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 14, 2010 Posted April 14, 2010 Ooooo 2 leadoff walks! Go get em Rod
Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 14, 2010 Posted April 14, 2010 Or, you know, pop up. Whatever you think is best.
Guest metsguyinmichigan Guests Posted April 14, 2010 Posted April 14, 2010 I suppose the pop-out is better than hitting into a DP.
Guest LeiterWagnerFasterStrongr Guests Posted April 14, 2010 Posted April 14, 2010 And there ya are, Jinxie.
