Wright's April of 2007 was arguably as bad (if not worse) than his April of 2009 has been and he went on to finish 4th in MVP voting in 2007.

At the office today, and was traveling during the first Johnson-Santana duel... I know he's tall, but is the Marlin THAT slow to the plate?

Just tuned into Howie to hear Hagin call a home run , they are saying the the umps went the video replay.

Is this the same area where SNY showed Sandy Alomar go over the ground rules with the umps last night during the game?

Johan likely done with 101 pitches. Still in line for the win right now.

Johan hit for himself. I like it. He can go another inning against these humps.

Johan has thrown a lot of pitches.
Who comes out for the seventh?
I'd like to see how Parnell can do as the seventh inning guy.

EDIT: I posted that before I saw 99's post.

Yeah, I'm sounding like a crank, but 101 pitches through six and 109 through seven are not a lot.

Jerry will check the book and see that it says Putz for the 8th and Rodriguez for the 9th.

Send out Santana and if he gets in trouble then pull him.

Did our #3 hitter just lay down a sacrifice?

Yes. Now do you pinch hit Shef for Churchie?

What's trouble? A game-tying homer?

That would be trouble alright .

Out in Milwaukee, Yovani Gallardo is following the age old formula for getting a W - shut them out and hit one out.

I'd let him pitch until the go-ahead run comes to the plate.

Or, if the Mets score in the 7th, until the tying run comes to the plate.

Experience says he stays in until there is a runner of any kind on any base.

Nice of Wright to go to 2nd. Let's see a two out, 2 RBI hit here, cushion this damn thing.
