Guest gerrard00 Guests Posted April 24, 2009 Posted April 24, 2009 Really Castro? Really? Of course, the boo loving fans have nothing to say when someone actually makes a lazy play. Two hands!
Guest Mendoza Line Guests Posted April 24, 2009 Posted April 24, 2009 Elijah Dukes offers the Mets an out. Castro declines.
Piggiestomatoes Old-Timey Member Posted April 24, 2009 Posted April 24, 2009 I think Castro was intending to pop the ball up with his glove and catch it behind his back. Even odds that comes back to bite.
ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted April 24, 2009 Posted April 24, 2009 I've got my first Citifield World Class experience 5/30. I hope this bunch is still in contention.I will be seriously pissed if they lose this thing.
ashie62 Old-Timey Member Posted April 24, 2009 Posted April 24, 2009 Castro looked like he was trying to field a Dickshot
bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted April 24, 2009 Posted April 24, 2009 Suck on that, Rob Dibble. During the entire AB, Dibble continued to insult Tatis, including saying that he swung like he had a donut on the bat.

bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted April 24, 2009 Posted April 24, 2009 Bob Carpenter accused the Mets of "gamesmanship" and said it was "unprofessional" to force the visiting team's bullpen to watch the game via a TV. First of all, the Mets aren't clever enough for gamesmanship and second, the TV is an upgrade from last week.
Guest metsguyinmichigan Guests Posted April 24, 2009 Posted April 24, 2009 Tatis says "Take this with your doughnut, Rob Dibble!"

The were like cages half-buried in the ground.
Guest metsguyinmichigan Guests Posted April 24, 2009 Posted April 24, 2009 Murph says "Put me in" and delivers!
bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted April 24, 2009 Posted April 24, 2009 They bitched about the bullpen for the entire half-inning. Carpenter wondered how the league could allow it and Dibble wondered if there was a brawl, if the bullpen pitchers would fight from across the adjacent bullpens.
Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 24, 2009 Posted April 24, 2009 Parnell throws some smoke. SNY clocking him at 97 MPH on that last K.
Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 24, 2009 Posted April 24, 2009 Feliciano looks more like 2007 than 2008. He's also getting less exposure against RH hitters. He is, so far, filling capably the LOOGY role.
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted April 24, 2009 Posted April 24, 2009 Just getting home here. Not in favor of hooking Santana.
Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 24, 2009 Posted April 24, 2009 Seriously. Let's blow this fucking thing open.
Piggiestomatoes Old-Timey Member Posted April 24, 2009 Posted April 24, 2009 Bergmann...another reliever with what looks like some sort of landing patch for facial hair.Let's go Tatis!
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted April 24, 2009 Posted April 24, 2009 Of course I would have liked to Wright's poke to RF go out but it is OK with me that a hard shot like stays in the park too.
Piggiestomatoes Old-Timey Member Posted April 24, 2009 Posted April 24, 2009 Good to see they can spell Washington. WOW!!! 2 for 15 with RISP. Thanks Gary.
seawolf17 Old-Timey Member Posted April 24, 2009 Posted April 24, 2009 Hey! That was Kase! And the DiamondKnights!

metirish Old-Timey Member Posted April 24, 2009 Posted April 24, 2009 Did I just see KC in the Empire Suites at the Gary , Keith and Ron event....big bald guy waving I guess at seeing himself on the TV .
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted April 24, 2009 Posted April 24, 2009 It was him then....the TIVO people need to get a picture of that...not sure but i thought I saw him whip out his cell phone like a proper dick

Fman99 Old-Timey Member Posted April 24, 2009 Posted April 24, 2009 Oooo a rally. Singles by Castro and Church.Runner on 2nd -- is it time for an RBI? Or Mama Cass?
Guest Swan Swan H Guests Posted April 24, 2009 Posted April 24, 2009 Bunting here is preposterous. Castro could be thrown out from anywhere, and all you do is give them an out. Swing batta batta batta...
Guest Swan Swan H Guests Posted April 24, 2009 Posted April 24, 2009 And the net effect is the same as a bunt.
