The one part I don't care for is the beveled wordmark, but I'll reserve judgment until I see how they apply all this to the uniforms.

I could do without yet another fake-chrome look on the lettering, but then again I suspect this logo was designed by the same guy who designs all the MLB logos today.

I do like the update on the skyline look. I see Buffalo's skyline in black, throwing a shadow that resembles NYC, just as the team's stars would one day make their mark on the big time, or so they will argue.

Strikes me that there aren't a lot of minor league affiliates that have the same color scheme as the parent club.

Pawtucket
Richmond
Iowa
MFY Affiliate

Don't think there are many others.

="Nymr83"]the old one is disgusting.

The ones before those, on the other hand, were minor league character logo perfection.

OO i see a red X.

i'd guess clubs would want to make $$ off the different colors, figuring that less people will buy a minor league shirt that the same color as the big-league shirt they already have 5 of.
the yankees, on the other hand, just put out all kinds of ugly color hats with their logo on it.
