It was. It is just that cheap flies to left in CBP are homeruns.

Just tuning in and... wow.

Ryan Howard is on pace for 213 strikeouts. That's fucking insane. I know he's hit 34 home runs, but if you're hitting .220 and striking out every third time up, that's sad.

David Wright is the berMet.

Wowzers.
That is fantastic.

It is insane and so's the fact he leads the NL with 109 RBI.
But Wrights gonna pass him down the stretch during this pennant run and snatch up the MVP award he was denied last year.

Phils get on the board with a walk, hit and sac fly.

7-1 Mets.

Pretty amazing considering the lumber that can drive 'em in in droves the Mets have had through the years.

Kingman, Staub, Strawberry, Carter, Foster, Piazza, etc.

lol.

He came up lame like 3 strides before the bag.
Looks like he wears kneepads under his uniform.
Schneider takes over at 1st and behind the plate.

Knew this wasn't gonna be a walk in the park.
Phils pitcher doubles and Rollins homers him in.

7-3

Was hoping to see 7 (or more) out of Martinez but I fear that was wishful thinking.
He's almost up to 90 pitches.

Utley draws a walk and Stokes gets up in the pen.

I hat this park. No lead is safe.

(Unless Easley and Tatis are hitting cheap homers, then it's OK)

I wish he was melting down. I wish it was something mental he could get over.

Dude just doesn't have his stuff.

Whew.
Jerry went out there after the Werth single but left him in, and Pedro K's Pedro to end it. He reared back there.

7-5 Mets.

Thats as close as I wanna see em get guys.
