hc: Wagner is without a doubt my favorite player. In fact, if I could, I would have his children <<<

They do operations in Belgium or Denmark for that. Google it.

My reaction to the inevitable post-game "Jeter has an Edge" commercial- not nearly as bad as last night. Funny how that works.

Oh christ on a fucking cracker, do they always have to show it twice?

I like mixing it up with Delgado at cleanup.

Marlon has no business being on this team. He's been great for us in the past, but not at all this year.

Good win, let's take the nooner tomorrow.

Don't envy that guy's job*- a company that's kept afloat by truck sales facing $5.50 gallons of gas with one failed car after another. Hey, I know how I can sell this POS- call in Derek Jeter!

*- actually, I'm incredibly envious, since this guy will be rich, rich, rich whether he turns Ford around or runs their sales further into the ground.

Nothing like a 3-run Reyes bomb and the Jose-Jose-Jose chant to equally shut up and infuriate the Philly fans in my section. (I did get a $20 ticket for $10 from them, too).

Beltran bunt = NO!

Thought Beltran also deserved an error on Rollins' hit. If he fields it cleanly and gets it back it, either Ruiz doesn't score (on a perfect relay) or Rollins is at least held at first.

Also thought Rollins might've deserved an error on the first infield single by Easley.

A check of the records indicates that somehow this is the fifth time I've seen Brett Myers start against the Mets, as many times as any opponent starter. (First time seeing him since 2005, though).

He said both words. The reporters seemed to be pushing him a little harder after he dropped the f-bomb. He was talking about the Victorino play and how he [billy] is 37 and Victonino is "what, like 25?"

Matt Yaloff paused when the feed got back to the studio and said something to the effect of "that's what a major league clubhouse is like."
