bmfc1 Old-Timey Member Posted March 7, 2008 Posted March 7, 2008 What a lineup! ESPN must be thrilled!LF Ezequiel Carrera; SS Anderson Hernandez; CF Angel Pagan; DH Olmedo Saenz; C Raul Casanova; RF Fernando Martinez; 1B Robinson Cancel; 3B Dan Murphy; 2B Argenis Reyes.
A Boy Named Seo Old-Timey Member Posted March 7, 2008 Posted March 7, 2008 Pagan just hit a laser off the top of the LF wall. On fire, Kruk tells me.
seawolf17 Old-Timey Member Posted March 7, 2008 Posted March 7, 2008 Seriously? I like how the Mets are telling MLB to go eff themselves with their "bring four starters" thing.
A Boy Named Seo Old-Timey Member Posted March 7, 2008 Posted March 7, 2008 They don't have 4, do they?
seawolf17 Old-Timey Member Posted March 7, 2008 Posted March 7, 2008 Unless Oliver Perez counts, they don't have any. Maybe they get half credit for bringing a Reyes, but it's the wrong Reyes.

Vic Sage Old-Timey Member Posted March 7, 2008 Posted March 7, 2008 starters? Pagan is the only 1 of those guys that will even make the 25-man roster, and even with him its mostly due to injury.
smg58 Old-Timey Member Posted March 7, 2008 Posted March 7, 2008 Unfortunately, Ollie appears to have been one starter too many.
Willets Point Old-Timey Member Posted March 7, 2008 Posted March 7, 2008 I went to the cafeteria for lunch and decided to eat there instead of bringing back lunch to my office which I usually do. I was rewarded by seeing that this game was on the big screen tv in the dining room. On the down side, I got to see the Indians score 4 runs off my Ollie and some really shoddy fielding by anonymous Mets.
Guest sharpie Guests Posted March 7, 2008 Posted March 7, 2008 I love it that the ScrubMets have put together a winning streak.
Benjamin Grimm Old-Timey Member Posted March 7, 2008 Posted March 7, 2008 I think the Mets will be the team to beat this year as long as their regulars don't play.
soupcan Old-Timey Member Posted March 7, 2008 Posted March 7, 2008 Did they win after Ollie got rocked?
Guest AG/DC Guests Posted March 7, 2008 Posted March 7, 2008 They won. Three-run rally in the seventh.Eric Wedge had to leave the game due to illness. Two more knocks for Pagan.
soupcan Old-Timey Member Posted March 7, 2008 Posted March 7, 2008 Amazin'!Who needs Perez - trade him for Nady.

(double gasp!!)You heard it here first.Later
