Guest Kong76 Guests Posted March 5, 2008 Posted March 5, 2008 Seems there are a bunch who can make it both days. Maybe we should voteuntil Thurs 9:00 pm so we know what's going on? I vote for the 16th, but will show up if the 8th wins. Don't forget to order your May tickets this Sunday. Last call. If not, see ya at Citi in 2009 ...
Guest themetfairy Guests Posted March 5, 2008 Posted March 5, 2008 I can make the 16th, so that's my vote.
Guest sharpie Guests Posted March 5, 2008 Posted March 5, 2008 16th is better than the 8th for me but not sure about either. The game on the 31st sounds good. It would be nice if there were a contingent sitting together instead of us all getting separate seats. I would be in on a groupsit if that is possible.
Gwreck Old-Timey Member Posted March 5, 2008 Posted March 5, 2008 Groupsit logistics are tough. And require a financial commitment from somebody, and then getting paid back. Figured it was too difficult to arrange that.I am in for the 16th at the ESPN Zone as well.

Guest sharpie Guests Posted March 5, 2008 Posted March 5, 2008 Without some groupsit not sure I would make it to the 31st. Unless Lenny makes it to the game with me and that's no lead-pipe cinch (16-year-olds often have other priorities than spending a day with dad) then I'd be on my own and while that isn't not-fun, it isn't as-fun.
Guest Kong76 Guests Posted March 5, 2008 Posted March 5, 2008 I know Edgy doesn't like to answer direct questions (sorry to pick on you onyour birthday) but he's in for the dirty thirty-first which I take to be the 5/31game then that's one or two tickets right there. Sharpie and Edge know each other, reach out and get some tickets together.I have a single ticket already, but if there's interest in getting a small block I mightdo that instead but we need communication before Sunday 3/9 at 9 am.
Vic Sage Old-Timey Member Posted March 5, 2008 Posted March 5, 2008 i think i'm in. have to clear it with mrs. sage.
Guest Kong76 Guests Posted March 5, 2008 Posted March 5, 2008 I got my days messed up, I have single Sun games not 5/31.
stevejrogers Old-Timey Member Posted March 5, 2008 Posted March 5, 2008 Put me down for maybe on both.
Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted March 5, 2008 Posted March 5, 2008 If we aren't able to buy a block of tickets for everyone, which I know is a big headache for the person coordinating the tickets, can we at least designate a particular section for everyone to purchase their tickets in? I'm 90% sure that I'll be coming up for the game. Unfortunately, it is the weekend before final exames for my daughter, so my wife and daughter are out. My son may be able to accompany me, but we're really not really sure about his schedule at this point. My present plan is to purchase two tickets in hopes that my son can accompany me. If he can't, then I hope to convince one of my buddies (none of whom are really baseball fans) to go with me for a free weekend in NYC with tailgating and a game. I really don't want to travel close to 500 miles to atend the game by myself.
seawolf17 Old-Timey Member Posted March 6, 2008 Posted March 6, 2008 Out for the Zone, but still in for May 31.
Guest Kong76 Guests Posted March 6, 2008 Posted March 6, 2008 I'm assuming from the list change that Edge and Sharpie made arrangements?Rockin, I'll get you two tickets with KB and I on Sunday morning if that worksfor you. LMK via PM or email.
Guest AG/DC Guests Posted March 6, 2008 Posted March 6, 2008 I havne't made arrangements yet. I'll swing something this week.
Guest Kong76 Guests Posted March 6, 2008 Posted March 6, 2008 If Edgy and Sharpie want me to include them in a strip lmk how many to getand I'll get them Sunday morning all together. That would be about my limit for getting group seating money-wise.
seawolf17 Old-Timey Member Posted March 6, 2008 Posted March 6, 2008 Kase, what level seats are you buying? I can front you money for our seats if you'd like.Is this a Bronze game? Value game? Silver game? I have no idea of the pricing levels, and I can't seem to find them on the site.
Guest Kong76 Guests Posted March 6, 2008 Posted March 6, 2008 Best available. My guess is they'll be in Mezz reserved in the outfield.I email your yoohoo account.

Willets Point Old-Timey Member Posted March 6, 2008 Posted March 6, 2008 You can put down as Out for March 16.I'm also up for a Braves game in September.
Guest Mendoza Line Guests Posted March 6, 2008 Posted March 6, 2008 I haven't been posting much lately, but I'm up for the pre-game tailgate on May 31. Not free for the 3/16 ST game at ESPN Zone, unfortunately.
Farmer Ted Old-Timey Member Posted March 6, 2008 Posted March 6, 2008 Single game tix go on sale at 9 am on Sunday. My Firefox will be fully loaded.Anyone planning to see the Mets in Pittsburgh this year?
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted March 7, 2008 Posted March 7, 2008 You can lock me in for a ticket. The missus-to-be is checking out her schedule so she's on the fence.
Guest Kong76 Guests Posted March 9, 2008 Posted March 9, 2008 Thus far, a half hour of trying to get 10 together anywhere but like row eighteen of the upper reserve has been futile. I'll keep trying every ten minutes until around 11 as tickets are looked atand released otherwise we'll be sitting in the clouds.
Farmer Ted Old-Timey Member Posted March 9, 2008 Posted March 9, 2008 I'm in the upper boxes, right field.Tried to get a big block of 8 but found 3 together for me and my peeps.
Guest Kong76 Guests Posted March 9, 2008 Posted March 9, 2008 I gave up around 11:10 on getting anything lower and got sec 8 wayyyy up.What I find frustrating is what they consider best available might not be whatI'm willing to settle for up in the red seats. I'd much rather sit in row B way out in the outfield but whatever. They sell from the middle out to keep fromopening all the concessions if at all possible is what I think although this shouldbe a heavily ticketed game.Anyway, the company will be good.
