Centerfield Old-Timey Member Posted July 2, 2007 Posted July 2, 2007 Holy crap. That really is something. I think we're gonna need a bigger thread.
MFS62 Old-Timey Member Posted July 2, 2007 Author Posted July 2, 2007 I think we can chalk this one up to "Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned".Later
seawolf17 Old-Timey Member Posted July 2, 2007 Posted July 2, 2007 Sometimes... SOMETIMES... I actually feel bad for A-Rod.
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted July 2, 2007 Posted July 2, 2007 That's amazing,and in terrible bad taste,and hardly a mistake either I would think.

Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted July 2, 2007 Posted July 2, 2007 Do the News and the Post have some sort of summt every few months, dividing up editorial angles?"OK, we're really going to pump the Yankees these next few seasons.""Good, we're going to drag them through the mud.""Excellent, then, where do you stand on Giuliani?""Prince of the City. You?""Satan on Earth.""Can you do that while pimping --- heh, sorry, pumping --- his baseball team?""Good point, let's table that for a bit. Where are you on obscene rappers?""MONSTERS!""The Voice of the Underclass here. This is moving faster than I thought."

nymr83 Old-Timey Member Posted July 2, 2007 Posted July 2, 2007 Arod's wife should have been given the boot. I've been to Yankee Stadium and I can assure you that anyone else wouldn't have been allowed in wearing that shirt. My friend was forced to turn a shirt that said "Baltimore Blows" inside-out to gain admission, the same happened to someone who was wearing a shirt with a McDonalds-like yellow "M" that said "Marijuana, over one million stoned".
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted July 2, 2007 Posted July 2, 2007 Nonetheless, keep it off your shirt, and I've found there's somthing of a winking attitude toward public profanity at Yankee Stadium. Shea Stadium also.Unless things have changed since I've been gone.
nymr83 Old-Timey Member Posted July 2, 2007 Posted July 2, 2007 those same 2 shirts i mention above were allowed into Shea.
