Centerfield Old-Timey Member Posted May 21, 2007 Posted May 21, 2007 Did you guys hear Joe Morgan's ridiculous discussion about Farnsworth's comments regarding Clemens. In Joe's opinion, Farnsworth had every right to say what he said as a member of the team, but since he doesn't know Clemens and has never played with him like some of the other guys, he really shouldn't have said what he said. After all, Joe Torre asked people on the team about it and Farnsworth doesn't matter because he's not a significant member of the team. And Torre through his experience, would never do anything to cause division within a team because he knows everyone matters.
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted May 21, 2007 Posted May 21, 2007 Yeah I thought that whole Fransworth thing was BS,Gammons fairly hammeered him for speaking up...wasn't he the one who said Fransworth was not a significant part of the team.

I'm more concerned over consecutive ineffective outings by Maine than I am by a failure to finish off a sweep of the Yankees. But I'm not overly concerned about Maine yet either. He's entitled to a down spell, and I'd rather he have it now than in September or October.
