Guest metsguyinmichigan Guests Posted October 19, 2006 Posted October 19, 2006 Hi guys! Sorry I'm late. That graphic about runs scoring was common sense.
metirish Old-Timey Member Posted October 19, 2006 Posted October 19, 2006 ]this just in: getting on base is really really important.it's very important.....
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted October 19, 2006 Posted October 19, 2006 If Wright caught pop-ups with two hands he'd be the perfect ballplayer. Why one hand Davey?I dont understand how you can be so fundimentally sound and continue to catch pop ups with one hand.......

metsmarathon Old-Timey Member Posted October 19, 2006 Posted October 19, 2006 he's gotta have a little switch hidden in his glove that pops the hat off remotely, for dramatic and dazzling effect.and why is it every time a ball gets hit to shawn springyhair green i think it'll somehow end up as a triple?
Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted October 19, 2006 Posted October 19, 2006 Why don't you just sit on the other side of the house and tap into the Kumarswamis' wireless network?
Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted October 19, 2006 Posted October 19, 2006 marathon - "this just in: getting on base is really really important."Tough to score if you never get on base. Go figure.

But I wore my Mets cap! (and they were having a snooty reception in the lobby, so I stood out)

Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted October 19, 2006 Posted October 19, 2006 I want to enlist in Oliver's Army.
A Boy Named Seo Old-Timey Member Posted October 19, 2006 Posted October 19, 2006 4 innings in and Ollie has (knocking on wood) been remarkably consistent:61 pitches, 44 strikes (including the intentional walk to Pujols). That's 72% strikes. When he misses on a fastball, it looks like he's going to fall over. Wonder if him pitching on short rest is keeping him from overthrowing more?Whatever, keep doing it, please.
metsmarathon Old-Timey Member Posted October 19, 2006 Posted October 19, 2006 if delgado just dropped a bunt right up the first base line, even he would be able to beat it out.

Willets Point Old-Timey Member Posted October 19, 2006 Posted October 19, 2006 I refuse to clap my hands on command.
Guest metsguyinmichigan Guests Posted October 19, 2006 Posted October 19, 2006 Ouch! That's taking one for the team!
metsmarathon Old-Timey Member Posted October 19, 2006 Posted October 19, 2006 ain't never seen that before.also, didnt know that you'd still get the base after the ball hit the ground. not sure why i thought you wouldn't, but i did...
A Boy Named Seo Old-Timey Member Posted October 19, 2006 Posted October 19, 2006 That's an awful big swing for such a little man.
