stevejrogers Old-Timey Member Posted September 13, 2006 Posted September 13, 2006 No Clincher tonight, see you on Friday...
stevejrogers Old-Timey Member Posted September 13, 2006 Posted September 13, 2006 Well if the Braves win the night cap, Mets win tonight and the Braves win tomorow, the Mets won't have to do a damned thingI'm sorry, I WANT AN ON FIELD CELEBRATION! Not in an airport in Pittsburgh, PA!
Guest ScarletKnight41 Guests Posted September 13, 2006 Posted September 13, 2006 I'll take the division whenever it comes - off day or not. It's bad karma to wish against things that ultimately benefit the Mets.
seawolf17 Old-Timey Member Posted September 13, 2006 Posted September 13, 2006 I'll meet you all at the airport tomorrow.

I liked hoping that we could sign Lance Parrish one day to keep that "lineage" going after 1988

Willets Point Old-Timey Member Posted September 13, 2006 Posted September 13, 2006 Phillies have a 5-2 lead in the 7th of game 2.Good. The more I see the Marlins the more I want the Phillies to win the WC.
Guest Yancy Street Gang Guests Posted September 13, 2006 Posted September 13, 2006 I still prefer San Diego.

Granted they did lose to the NL East winner in the NLCS, but man did they put up a FIGHT!

Guest Yancy Street Gang Guests Posted September 13, 2006 Posted September 13, 2006 I don't think it's going to matter. The NLDS road games will be on a weekend anyway. There won't be any 11 p.m. start times for the Mets.

MFS62 Old-Timey Member Posted September 14, 2006 Author Posted September 14, 2006 Do we now have to thank the Phillies for taking two because the Mets won't clinch on an off day?Later
