I am sick of Chris Woodward. Just looking at him makes me ill.

Woodie was nobody's automatic out today, though, was he?

I don't care - I am sick and freaking tired of watching him every freaking day - I would prefer KazMat to him.

The Rockies, I hear, are interviewing fans.

Meanwhile, a runner gets on first, do you walk Pujols?

The Cards were hoping Mulder would comeback and pitch like an all star--and we spanked him.

9 ER in 3 innings pitched.

Yup, he forgot about Mak Modah! And we never did use Guillermo Mota, ah well...

Jose Reyes.

Second player in MLB history (since 1900) with:

over 20 doubles
15 triples
15 homers
over 50 stolen bases

(I hope I got that right)

Uhh, "entertained" is a very, shall we say, "liberal" description. I'd put it somewhere past "unfortunately subject to the sounds of"

---

Attendance was listed at 49,000+ but was very clearly less than last night, which had a similar listed number.

Why?

The #7 train broke down at about 6:15 this evening at the Court House Square stop. No trains between 74th Street and Grand Central for a while. Let me tell you, this was a MAJOR pain in the ass. Probably some fans who gave up/couldn't get there.

Strange coincidence: you can add me to the list of people who's only MLB playoff game was 2000 NLCS Game 4.

That's like my worst nightmare. The 7 has been very unreliable this summer, but fortunately, it's mostly happened with the Mets out of town.

At least you were stuck at a spot where a transfer to the E is easy.

Not exactly. We were stuck behind at the Hunterspoint stop. Had to walk about a half-mile but caught a cab with 3 other fans. Turns out I know Queens better than I thought!

Well, I know one, and he subsequently became a Met.
