Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted July 20, 2006 Posted July 20, 2006 Hey Duaner, No beer for you!The way this game is going, we may have to keep the beer for ourselves.
stevejrogers Old-Timey Member Posted July 20, 2006 Posted July 20, 2006 D-Day (Bruce McGill): War's over, man. Wormer dropped the big one.Bluto: Over? Did you say "over"? Nothing is over until we decide it is! Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? Hell no!Otter (Tim Matheson): [whispering] Germans?Boon (Peter Riegert): Forget it, he's rolling.Bluto: And it ain't over now. 'Cause when the goin' gets tough... [thinks hard] the tough get goin'! Who's with me? Let's go! [runs out, alone; then returns] What the fuck happened to the Delta I used to know? Where's the spirit? Where's the guts, huh? "Ooh, we're afraid to go with you Bluto, we might get in trouble." Well just kiss my ass from now on! Not me! I'm not gonna take this. Wormer, he's a dead man! Marmalard, dead! Niedermeyer -Otter: Dead! Bluto's right. Psychotic, but absolutely right. We gotta take these bastards. Now we could do it with conventional weapons that could take years and cost millions of lives. No, I think we have to go all out. I think that this situation absolutely requires a really futile and stupid gesture be done on somebody's part.Bluto: We're just the guys to do it.D-Day: Let's do it.Bluto: LET'S DO IT!!

stevejrogers Old-Timey Member Posted July 20, 2006 Posted July 20, 2006 I'm starting to hear a faint rumble from the South. With a sound not unlike the sound of FSU football!
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted July 20, 2006 Posted July 20, 2006 hey--if the Mets play like they should, the Braves can go on streak and never even close the gap.*Z crosses his fingers, toes, legs, arms, eyes.the guys with the white suits show up and cart him off.
duan Old-Timey Member Posted July 20, 2006 Posted July 20, 2006 really crappy loss. I went to bed at the rain delay but I had a bad feeling that it was going to end up like that. I do worry that they've entered into too much of a comfort zone though but I'm probably a bit paranoid about that. I'm much more worried that the lead getting shrunk to 4/5 games might make Omar go L.O.O.P.Y. and pony up something of value for Livian Hernandez.

Guest Yancy Street Gang Guests Posted August 7, 2006 Posted August 7, 2006 Diana is the goddess of the hunt.I was curious, so I looked up "Diana goddess of love" either in Google or Wikipedia, and found out that there was a Diana goddess of love on Buffy the Vampire Slayer. So maybe our Diana is a Buffy fan.
Willets Point Old-Timey Member Posted August 7, 2006 Posted August 7, 2006 I'm not calling her "our Diana" until she actually says something. I hope she hasn't taken RMPL to the extreme.
