Guest old original jb Guests Posted June 28, 2006 Posted June 28, 2006 Is Pedro hurt? Or are are the Red Sox his new "Daddy"?
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted June 28, 2006 Posted June 28, 2006 Ugly game so far.I havent seen Milledge's error tonight yet but I saw last nights and that was just awful. I dont know how he lost that ball, but he did. This is ashame- I expected quite a pitchers dual here.I think Boston being so nice to Pedro was a sabatoging factor, effecting his competitiveness. j/k,.........kinda.(no CPF kaboom for Delgado? Whats goin on here?)
Guest Hillbilly Guests Posted June 28, 2006 Posted June 28, 2006 I wish we could at least get something going! But nothing!
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted June 28, 2006 Posted June 28, 2006 Just reading last nights IGT and T-Monks mock Boston accent is hysterical. And Ill quote him tonight, cuz it applies tonight as well:]Mothah Love Bone...this sucks.Chloe/Crown of Thorns MAN!*Z waves two fingers and a thumb in the air wildly*
Guest Johnny Dickshot Guests Posted June 28, 2006 Posted June 28, 2006 What gets me isn't losing to a superior team, it's playing shittily enough to not make it close.Phils and Phish losing.Boston trotting out the 2nd string.

seawolf17 Old-Timey Member Posted June 28, 2006 Posted June 28, 2006 It's all good. It's just Pedro tormenting the Yankees one more time.
Centerfield Old-Timey Member Posted June 28, 2006 Posted June 28, 2006 Some people say that using two hands is overrated...and with the big gloves, they may have a point...but one thing it does is force you to get centered underneath the ball. You would think after last night Lastings would take every precaution not to repeat his mistake. Even the one he grabbed tonight was one-handed. Say what you want about his attitude (I personally find him hard to like) but his shaky fielding and his lack of plate discipline are the bigger issues.
nymr83 Old-Timey Member Posted June 28, 2006 Posted June 28, 2006 i dont mind his attitude, but man does he need some time in the minors.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted June 28, 2006 Posted June 28, 2006 I just saw the error.Yow.I dont know how it feels to play with the Mohnstah at your back, so Ill reserve comment. But yow.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted June 28, 2006 Posted June 28, 2006 Da fat lady just barked out a tune.Game ovah!Pedro just didnt have it tonight.Just saw the play where he messed up on the grounder to the mound.Couldnt see third but he sure had the guy at second.Wierd night for Martinez.
