Guest Mr. Zero Guests Posted June 14, 2006 Posted June 14, 2006 Sure looks like they're trying to lose on purpose.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted June 14, 2006 Posted June 14, 2006 And I cant believe that deep fly goes off Abreus glove!Reyes takes 3 bases on it.They score that a triple but that had error written all over it!.And Myers has been knocked out of the box.
A Boy Named Seo Old-Timey Member Posted June 14, 2006 Posted June 14, 2006 What up with Abreu? He seems to freak out when he gets close to the wall. Moreso than most other guys. Anyone recall if he smacked into one sometime?

Guest GYC Guests Posted June 14, 2006 Posted June 14, 2006 El Duque is imploding... And now it is raining. Fuck.
nymr83 Old-Timey Member Posted June 14, 2006 Posted June 14, 2006 if you blow this lead you should never start a game in a met uniform again.the phillies got 2, we've only played 3 and the rain is coming

Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted June 14, 2006 Posted June 14, 2006 Howard pops out.So Rollins has homered 3 times the last two games. Not good.6-2 mets, and I get this feeling they are gonna need more. And Beltran hears me and doubles down the 1st baseline.man-he smoked that down the line!
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted June 14, 2006 Posted June 14, 2006 And Delgado drives in Beltran with a single up what can only be considered the middle, the way they play him.
nymr83 Old-Timey Member Posted June 14, 2006 Posted June 14, 2006 fuckin shit the tarp is coming out.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted June 14, 2006 Posted June 14, 2006 Hernandez does not look long for this game. And now its pourin! If they roll out the tarp---and they are--i wonder if it wouldnt be wise to shelf ElDouque for the night and run a fresh arm out there after the delay.
nymr83 Old-Timey Member Posted June 14, 2006 Posted June 14, 2006 get Oliver up, duque hasn't been sharp and we might as well use the rain to get him out of there.
Willets Point Old-Timey Member Posted June 14, 2006 Posted June 14, 2006 It sure rains a lot in Philadelphia. It would've been nice if it was an official game and they called it with the Mets ahead.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted June 14, 2006 Posted June 14, 2006 If the delay isnt that long-maybe stick with Hernandez and try to get afew more out of him. The way he was starting to look tho, i dont think any delay is gonna help him. He was starting to look uncontrolled. If its longer than 15 minutes---I wouldnt mind seein Oliver for 2 to 4.Sanchez can do an inning.Bradford in a fix.If it gets close we got Wags in the 9th.

nymr83 Old-Timey Member Posted June 14, 2006 Posted June 14, 2006 ]If its longer than 15 minutesi don't think you'd pull the tarp out if it was going to end that soon, it takes a few minutes to get on and 10 to get off, thats on top of the time its sitting there during the actual rain, i think the "minimum" rain delay is 30 minutes or so, at least i've never seen one shorter
Elster88 Old-Timey Member Posted June 14, 2006 Posted June 14, 2006 Keith Miller is Wright's agent. Yes, that Keith Miller.

metirish Old-Timey Member Posted June 14, 2006 Posted June 14, 2006 We are back , Oliver pitching for the Mets...
Guest ScarletKnight41 Guests Posted June 14, 2006 Posted June 14, 2006 The tarp is off the field.Change the title of the thread - it's Darren Oliver vs. The Phillies.
