Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted June 11, 2006 Posted June 11, 2006 And the Chase Field DJ cues up "Rock 'n' Roll, Part I" because they pull within 13-1. Please tell me they don't play that at Shea anymore.

Guest Edgy DC Guests Posted June 11, 2006 Posted June 11, 2006 Marrero in for Beltran.Make Met history, Eli.
seawolf17 Old-Timey Member Posted June 11, 2006 Posted June 11, 2006 Well, jeez. Matsui could have done that.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted June 11, 2006 Posted June 11, 2006 There's Marrero- Ks in his 1st AB as a Met.

The Big O Old-Timey Member Posted June 11, 2006 Posted June 11, 2006 BBTN leads off with in-progress Mets game (okay, maybe it's a Grimsley discussion). Krukker goes out of his way to say he likes how the Mets get contributions from role players (Endy). And how Castro can block the plate and handle the short hop "like most guys can't". And how this is all an example of how "good teams put the division away". Harold gives Ravvy the bizness, it seems, for being a big DW fan.Good times earnin' praise from the clown brigade. Not sure if that's a desirable goal, but it's nice to see.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted June 11, 2006 Posted June 11, 2006 Oliver bats for himself in the 8th and I have to assume he's in for the long haul. And he draws a walk---lol.I love it.

seawolf17 Old-Timey Member Posted June 11, 2006 Posted June 11, 2006 'Bout time Marrero did something.
Zvon Old-Timey Member Posted June 11, 2006 Posted June 11, 2006 ="seawolf17"]'Bout time Marrero did something.lolThese D'backs have to be feeling shellshocked.I almost hope the Snakes do make the playoffs. If the Mets get in (just talking in anti jinx logic when I say if)all the games will seem like home games.Cripes, they even hit better out there.
Guest Rockin' Doc Guests Posted June 11, 2006 Posted June 11, 2006 I just got back in from running some errands around town. It was 3-0 Mets after one innings when I left. Having a hell of a time reading through the thread.I enjoy the play by play in the IGT's. For those of us that can't actually see the game, the descriptions of the action makes it easier to understand what happened in the game.
